I glanced at the sleeping man with a weird bird mask on my living room couch. I found him unconscious near the forest behind my home. He's been staying with me for about 8 months now. When he's awake we usually talk but I keep things about myself vague. I always wear a hoodie and surgical mask.

He can't remember anything and I can't fully heal him. I just told him what I knew from my quirk. I usually use my quirk on his head and it brings back small memories. I haven't been able to go out and get more energy so I can only do it every 2 days. I have to let him sleep a lot so that I can use some of his energy. He's kinda like an older brother to me.

Luckily for me he somehow remembers sign language so I guess it's selective amnesia. I haven't spoken to anyone except Ōkami for years. The whole time we've been together I've only talked verbally a few times. I left the warehouse after Ochaco died. I couldn't stay there after loosing them both there. It hurt to much. Then again I don't feel much of anything anymore so it doesn't really matter.

There's an abandoned apartment complex right outside the forest. I've been staying here since that night. I went to the kitchen to see what I had to eat. There wasn't much but it was enough to last us a few days. My ear twitched and I walked out from the kitchen. The main groaned and tried to sit up.

Still undetermined huh, can't be helped I guess. I walk over the couch and help him sit up.

"Kai-Chan.....careful" I mumbled.

He jumped slightly, "Yeah sorry I had that dream again" he chuckled nervously.

I sighed heavily, "it might be a memory. I think your brain is trying to force you to remember."

"The pains starting to get unbearable....what can we do?" He asked.

My ear twitched, "I'm gonna go out and gather some energy. It should be enough to fully heal you."

"Are you sure? I don't want you to hurt yourself for me." He said slightly worried.

I shook my head, "It's fine, I should have enough energy to go back out for more. I'll be a bit slow and weak but I can handle myself."  I signed.

"Ok please be careful" he gave me a small smile.

I nodded and helped him lay back down. I walk over to the window sliding it up. I slowly climb out onto the fire escape. I then jump off grabbed onto an outstretched tree branch. I swung myself up before twisting slightly so I was in a crouched position. I closed my eyes and focused my hearing.

I heard loud splashing and annoyed grunts towards my left. Sounds like a bear looking for fish. I jumped out of the tree landing gracefully on my feet. 'Do you need me to come out?'

"No Ōkami I can handle it" I mumbled out loud.

'I'll be sleeping then' I heard him reply. I simply ran through the trees feeling the wind caress my face. I jumped over fallen trees and rocks as I made my way towards the river. I paused for a second listening closely before dashing to my right. I'm not letting you get away from me.
