Chapter 6 - First Day

Chloe's first lessons start today, she's had had interesting but fun couple of weeks at College. She's seen her best friend every day, made some new great friends and also met some interesting people, if you could use the word 'interesting' there's no other way to describe them. They're not the type of people you could click with but somehow Chloe has sort of clicked with them? She's not sure how. Chloe just starts to get ready slowly, it's 8am and her first lesson's at 9:30, she thought if she got up and at least dressed then she could write for a bit.

She does write, she's written more being at College than home, but not as much as she wants. She thought she would be able to write for a lot of hours during the day but that's not happening, not when Aubrey gets Chloe out, or Emily. She's grown to love Emily and she doesn't mind. Luckily for her, her and Emily's schedule is different, Chloe finishes at 2, but Emily finishes at 5, and Aubrey's all day until 5 as well. She's definitely planning on getting a couple of hours writing in as Chloe has no doubt in her mind that they'll all be hanging out tonight, including Jesse and Benji what with is being the first proper day of College.

She smiled at the message and replied 'Thank you, hope you have a good day, too! Love you, Chicago! X'

Chloe spent the rest of her time writing until she was going to her lesson. It was a 15-minute walk away from her dorm, so she put her music on and walked to the building. As she was walking and in her own world, she didn't hear someone call her name, more than once. In fact she jumped when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She took a headphone out and looked to see who it was.

"Hey, Chloe. Sorry did I make you jump?"

"Oh, hi Beca, yeah you did"

"Oh, sorry, I just wanted to say hey"

"Ok, well you've said hey, I really need to go. I'll see you around"

"Wait, did you and the others, Jesse and Benji are coming but tonight, it's a small party, are you up for it?"

"If Benji and Jesse are coming then yeah we'll be there"

"Great" She smiled. "I mean, cool" She nodded. "Come around for 7"

"Alright, we'll be there, see you later Beca" Chloe smiled.

That was the first time she'd probably smiled to Beca since their dare. Beca tried to talk to Chloe, but she just shut her down. Chloe wasn't interested in someone like her. She would only be nice because she got on with Jesse and Benji, as well as Emily.

It seemed like a short day for Chloe, she didn't expect her first day to be finished. Not much happened, it was more of an introductory lesson and going through the modules that she'd be doing. She took notes in lessons so that when she got back, she could type them up on her laptop. She was a rather organised person it took an hour, but she had files for the lessons that she'd had already and created more folders within the main folders to name them what module she'd be doing. It was how she worked, she did it in school, she would write notes and then type them up, everything she did with school you would know that by the next day it would be saved on her laptop. It made it easier for her to search for things when it came to revising for specific parts. She also did it as she didn't have the best handwriting and just found it so much easier to type.

She loved her laptop and didn't want to risk taking it to a lesson, she's always worried about whether she'd leave it somewhere or not. She didn't want to lose it, it had everything on it, her whole life was on there. Memories with her friends, memories with her family, and there were a lot of pictures.
