It had been just over a week since Beca and Chloe kissed. A week since Chloe had been completely avoiding Beca, avoiding her messages, and avoiding her house. Aubrey started to suspect something was up, but Chloe kept saying that she was fine and just tired. She was too ashamed of what had happened. She couldn't tell anyone, not even her own mother because she knew full well her mother would flip. She was also afraid of telling her Dad. She just wanted someone to talk to, but at this particular moment in her life, she had no one to talk to.

Today is Sunday, and Chloe decided that she'd would just spend the day in the library writing. She just wanted to escape from reality, and this was how she did it. She was up by 9am and got up. She chucked on a pair of jeans, a bra, and a hoodie, as well as her vans. Packing her laptop quietly along with her charger, headphones, notebook to type up a few more notes into her bag. Then picking up her phone and key, she left the room quietly. She didn't want to wake Emily up.

On her way to the library she stopped off at the café to grab a latte and something for breakfast. As she stepped in, she smelt bacon cooking and instantly decided on a bacon sandwich with some tomato ketchup. She knew it would fill her up until lunch time. After steeping out of the café, she looked up at the bright sky, watching the birds fly, smelling the fresh air. She took a deep breath and just thought of nothing. This was the first time where she didn't think of anything, and she liked that feeling. The feeling of no worries, and no thoughts. It was the first time in over a week where she had no thoughts. Just a shame that that doesn't happen for long, especially in Chloe's head.

Chloe saw a corner of the library and saw that no one was there, in fact the library was pretty much empty. She wasn't surprised though, it was early on a Sunday and no doubt a lot of people were drinking last night and is hungover or they were just going to arrive later. Even though it was her first week, some people did have work to do, but she was a lucky one and had no work to do, yet anyway. She just wanted to type up her work from Friday as she didn't do that, but that wouldn't take long to do. The only thing in the library was just for her to find the toilet, which she did, it's across but to the left of where she's sat. As she got to the corner she checked it had plug sockets which it did of course, so placing her coffee and her bag on the desk she sat down on the chair.

It didn't take long for Chloe to settle in the library. She had her laptop, her headphones were connected to the laptop, her phone was on silent, her notebook was to the right of her on the pages that she needed to type up her notes, the correct folders were up so that she could save her work instantly in said folder, and finally her coffee was to the left of her. She was ready for the day ahead of her, and more importantly, ready to basically forget real life for a day and write her story.

Even though she hadn't been writing as much as she thought, she was still sending chapters to her Dad for him to read. Of course though, at the moment, he was settling into his new home for the next year, so he didn't have much time to talk to Chloe, plus the time zone difference as he is now 19 hours ahead of Chloe, but he sent her messages, they'd just not spoken since he and Jenny brought Chloe to California. Chloe misses her Dad, and the time difference makes it difficult to talk, but she's happy that he can still read her chapters. She obviously would understand if he didn't have the time right now, but he makes the effort to read the chapters on the day that he receives them, or even just sends Chloe a text to say that he would read them in the morning as it could be late at night when he receives the new chapter. She hadn't sent one to him for a few days, so after typing up her notes that'd be the first thing that she'd do.

Three hours later she's deep into her story and knows exactly what to write, and with Chloe once she knows what to write, that's it, you won't get anything from her until she's done. Chloe's typing and typing away, music going through her ears, completely oblivious that her phone's ringing and people are texting her. She didn't even feel her watch vibrating until she grabbed a bottle of water that she bought in the café.
