Jenny and David were leaving California first thing in the morning, meaning that today was the last day for Chloe to see her parents. She shed a few tears when saying goodbye, especially as she wasn't going to see her Father again until March, her birthday. But she would see her mother at Christmas. She was excited about being at College and being a little independent, but it was a shame that her Mother was the other side of America, it wasn't as if she could be like Emily and get the sub and be home within half an hour. Chloe's hardly spoken to Chicago in the last 24 hours, what with the journey, and then unpacking, and being with her parents. She texted him a couple of times, and even apologized. She told him that she just wanted to spend some more time with her Father before he left. Of course, he understood. she said that she'd phone him before going out with Aubrey and Emily.

Aubrey was in Chloe's room getting ready for tonight. She wouldn't have even thought about going if it wasn't for her wanting to introduce Chloe to Jesse. But Jesse managed to easily persuade Aubrey into coming, plus Chloe wanted to go to her first College party. She wasn't much of a drinker but enjoyed the occasional party. Her and Chicago went to a few, with him being a footballer, there were many parties of celebration after a game, she would go to spend time with Chicago. He never pushed her when it came to drinking either. She would have one or two and that would be it.

All three girls were ready, it took well over an hour, but they were ready. It was never easy for Chloe to get ready, it always took her over an hour just to get ready for a trip to town, you don't even want to know how long it could take her to get ready for one of Chicago's parties. Aubrey straightened Chloe's hair otherwise they would've still been waiting. Emily was in shock, she knew girls could take ages to get ready, but never realised how long they could take. Granted, she took a little bit, but nothing like what Chloe was taking. Aubrey made fun of Chloe by saying that they did want to get to the party this side of the first semester. It was then when Chloe asked if Aubrey could do her hair while she did her make-up.

They were walking through the campus, it was day-light, but the sun was slowly going down. There were many students about, some one the field just talking, some playing football, a group by a big tree smoking and playing music, and a few people just sat on their own, reading with headphones in. The house was only a ten-minute walk away from Chloe's dorm. They were walking past Aubrey's dorm when she said about wanting to go to hers. She'd forgotten something for Jesse. A DVD. He wanted to borrow the new IT movie to watch. Apparently Benji wanted to watch it and Jesse knew that Aubrey had a copy. She had no idea why he wanted to watch it, it was a rubbish movie in her opinion, and she didn't understand the hype of it, either. Killer clown haunting the town? There were better movies out there.

"Emily, good to see you, again"

"Hey Amy, you too. You know Aubrey, this is Chloe"

"Hey ginger"

"Hi Amy"

"Don't worry, she gives nicknames for everyone" Aubrey whispered in Chloe's ear.

"Alright General"

"See what I mean?"

Chloe sniggered.

"If you want to put anything down, just hang it in the closet"

They hung their jackets on the same hanger.

As they walked through the house they saw that there were a lot of people. Aubrey was surprised by how many people there were. There must've been about 40 people in house give or take.

"Right, Chloe, Emily, want a drink?"

Aubrey lead them to the kitchen where there were an array of drinks. Aubrey went for a red wine, Chloe went for a gin and lemonade, and Emily just went for a lemonade. Emily hardly drunk, it wasn't something she was interested in, she only drunk if it would be a family thing, and even then one drink could take her the whole night. After getting their drinks, they went to leave the kitchen, but they got stopped by Stacie.
