A week later and Chloe hadn't spoken to anyone, not even Aubrey. She shared a room with Emily and Emily was lucky if she'd gotten a full sentence out of Chloe. She tried to avoid everyone, so she would go to lectures and then go to the library and spent either the day working or writing. Chloe had received a lot of texts from her Mom, Jenny Beale, but she'd not responded in any way. Her Dad reached out and Chloe just ignored them too. Even though Chloe had spent a lot of time writing due to her being caught up and being ahead of her College work, she'd not sent one chapter of her work over the last two weeks for her Dad to read. He'd just assumed that she was busy with work and figured that Chloe would send over a chapter once it was completed.

Chloe was always good and handed everything in on time and would try to get herself a little bit ahead of the schedule, but this time she was completely ahead. She had an essay that was set just over a week ago and she had a month time limit to hand it in, she'd already handed it in and her professor had marked it.

Whenever she saw Beca's name pop up on her phone, she just swiped across and deleted the notification, she couldn't face any of her friends, let alone Beca. She just completely shut everyone out, including Aubrey. Emily hardly saw Chloe at all. Chloe was genuinely upset and angry as to how she could let it get as far as it did. She was just even more upset as to how it all went down, and that Chicago just turned up out of the blue.

She loved Chicago don't get her wrong, but she felt like there was always something missing. She liked spending time with Beca, she liked the excitement, and liked that Beca could just say 'come on let's go' and they would go. It was spontaneous, exciting, thrilling to the thought of them possibly being caught, but they never were. The other difference between Beca and Aubrey that she did like was that even Aubrey had to plan everything, and she was worse than Chicago. Aubrey was the one that would have it all planned to the very second and even if they were ever late, Aubrey would throw a fit. Chloe never had spontaneity with Chicago, everything was planned and even if she would say to him 'oh let's go here' he would always say 'oh but we have to do this, or this' even though they never did. He just wasn't like that at all.

When Chicago got back to Florida he was straight over to Jenny's as he saw her as a second Mom and even though he loved his own Mother, he seemed to have a better bond with Jenny, so of course she knew his side of the story before Chloe talking to her. Jenny would genuinely never give Chloe the better of the doubt because she hated the idea of Chloe shacked up with a girl. She had it in her head that it would always be Chicago and Chloe until the very end, getting married and having kids. She had it all pretty much planned out for them just before their first year together. So, of course, the second she found out, she was instantly trying to talk to Chloe and left numerous voicemails.

Her father, David, didn't care whom Chloe was with just as long as that person treated her right, this was a reason as to why they split up, because when Chloe was with a girl, they had disagreements to how Chloe should be. David was upset to hear it all from Jenny because he always said to her that it would not matter who Chloe was with, boy or a girl, just as long as she was happy. Even though he does message, he is upset that Chloe's just ignoring him, but there's not much that he can do apart from text and say that he'll be here whenever she is ready to talk about it all. He did constantly try calling and texting but he wasn't getting anywhere, so he minimised the amount he was trying to get through to her.

Stacie didn't understand anything at all that had gone on. Normally Beca would brag about sleeping with someone, but she didn't this time. She would tease and tease and hope something would be said, but Beca just played it as nothing, and still admitted it was all a bet. She knew that she was lying however. Not even the guys had a clue, none of Beca's friends knew that Beca had actually been sneaking and taking Chloe out for days. They'd all assumed that she'd gotten caught up with someone else, not that someone else being Chloe the whole time. Emily doesn't get herself involved, she leaves Beca alone because that's always been made perfectly clear, as well as leaving Stacie alone even though Stacie has nothing to do with the family, she's just Beca's friend.
