I couldn't concentrate anymore. My mom ruined everything for me because she's so overprotective. She's even thinking about home schooling me. I haven't seen Dino anymore after what happened last week, 6 days ago. I looked up to the sky, the sun was shining brightly above me and the sky was clear from any clouds. It was so bad, that my mom even picked me up from school and brought me to school. Kids laughed at me for that and bullying increased. The only reason I am not telling my mom is because school is the only way to escape my home and my mother.

I sighed, staring at the trees in front of me. Tracy not too far behind, mocking me off along with some other girls. I hate being a Neko and I hate my life right now. Perhaps she's right, maybe it's better this time. I'll never be normal and I know. I looked up as I heard a very powerful V12 engine. The red Ferrari was shinning brightly under the sun and parked right in front of me. I got up and watched Dino hop out and approach me. "Hi..."  he murmured softly. He offered me a weak smile, but I couldn't return it.

"Come on..." he gestured me to hop in, which I did. "Lets talk somewhere else. When starts your next class?" he questioned. "My next class is canceled, so I have a little more than an hour,"  I mumbled, fiddling with my fingers. Dino left the school area and as I looked up, I noticed he drove towards McDonalds, to have some lunch with me.
When we settled down next the window, he spoke up. "So, how are you doing?" he asked. "Sad... and angry at the same time... I am so sorry, Dino... I should have listened to you when you suggested to go home. I just didn't want to face her... I like the things you teach me and how you treat me..."  I said.

He offered me a smile, "we can't change what happened, Sky... but there was something Ratchet asked me to ask you..."
I closed my eyes for a moment as I looked down, shaking my head. "Don't make it harder then it already is, Mirage..." I muttered. "Well, I am going to ask you anyway... because one I am a spy and don't like if questions stay unanswered and two, we are concerned," he said. I looked up, "she's going to murder me if I tell you and I don't feel comfortable telling you either. It's not like I don't trust you... but I just hate myself..." I said. He shook his head and grasped my hand. "Would you please tell me the truth?" he asked. "At this point, we are friends," he said.

I blushed a little at the close contact and looked at his hand holding mine. "I am used in experiments... I lost some memories, so I can't tell you exactly what happened, but I can tell you that it wasn't fun and they messed up my DNA. I don't like the scars... or the traces that are left from it..." I muttered. Dino pressed a soft kiss on the back of my hand without breaking eye contact with me. A warm feeling spread through my body and a weak smile formed on my lips.

"You shouldn't hate yourself because your mother is telling you things. It doesn't matter how you look like... and I don't know what is wrong with you precisely because... you're beautiful and I am not saying this because I want to get you in a better mood. I think every bot would say the same independently," he stated. I smiled and blushed at his words. "I love your long hair... so silky and your face... especially your smile... I love seeing you smile," he said.
He let go of my hand and leaned back, unwrapping his burger. "Guess we are both a little different," he added with a weak smirk covering his face.

I hummed and nodded, taking a sip of the strawberry milkshake. "I guess we do..." I muttered. "and you know... I think we are passed the formal bond we should have," he added, meeting my blue orbs again. I started smiling, "no matter how crazy your mom is... I'll be your friend..."
His words comforted me and I watched him reach out for something. "This is my number..." he said, giving me a piece of paper. "Thanks..." I mumbled, taking it. "As soon as I get my phone back, I'll text you," I mumbled.

He nodded, "But do I get my excited and happy employee back?" he teased. I giggled at that, "I wouldn't say employee... my mom doesn't want me to come back anymore," I said. He hummed and tapped on table in a rhythmic manner. "How about... we are going to do something illegal?" he asked. I cocked my head to the side in a curious manner, "I will pick you up tonight... she thinks you sleep and instead you're at the base... we can pull that trick," he said. I smiled and nodded in excitement.

That night, before midnight, I sneaked out of the house. Jumping from the window on the floor and easily jumped over the fence, hopping in Dino's alt-mode. "You shouldn't jump, it's way too high," he said as he quietly drove off. "Oh, I am good at jumping... I can easily jump that height..." I stated.

He hummed and sped off as soon as he left my neighborhood. We chatted a little and as we reached the base, I noticed it wasn't busy at all, lots of soldiers were asleep. He parked in the Autobot hanger and I walked up to Optimus and Prowl's alt-mode. "I am really sorry about what my mom said and about all the yelling... I hate that she does that kind of thing," I said. Their holoforms fizzled in, "We have dealt with difficult people before, Skyler... so, don't worry. It's alright," Optimus said a bit teasing to clear the air from tension.

"You don't have to apologize for anything, Sky..." Prowl added. I nodded, slightly relieved and walked back over to Dino. There's one more thing I needed to do, "Dino?" He hummed and looked down at me. "Where can I find Ratchet? I need to talk to him for a moment..."
