((Dino's P.O.V))
Skyler isn't coming today. It gave me the opportunity to think about her for a split second without her asking me questions all the time. She's really curious, hyperactive, wants to learn, and always positive. I have never met a human with such positive energy as Skyler has. I think we all agreed on that. Every single one of us who met Skyler is already crazy about her. Even Sunstreaker accepts her and that while she just got here two days ago. I had to admit that I had my doubts when I heard about the young teen. Turns out, she's sweet and even cute in some way.

Ratchet approached me. "So, what do you think?" I asked. "She's nice... I like her, but I do have my questions. She looks healthy and I think she feels healthy, but the fact she didn't know what she got operated on concerns me. Weren't you planning to talk to her carrier?" he asked. "Yeah, but I feel a bit awkward by doing that. Apparently, her mother is really overprotective, isolating her. The last thing I want is mixing into it. It's none of my business and Skyler lied about where she works and what she's doing..."

Ratchet hummed and became quiet for a good moment. Properly thinking about what to do now. "Well, go to her house and talk to her mother. I think you know how to question people without them knowing it," he replied, turning around. "Ah, so now it's my problem?" I mocked. A grin pulled up on Ratchet's lips. "You're the best in what you're doing, Dino." I laughed, "What is wrong with you, Ratchet? You are giving me a compliment," I mocked. Ratchet rolled his eyes and waved me off.

On my way, I started thinking about her again. She had something mysterious. Something I couldn't place and didn't understand. One of the things that confuse me is the fact that she doesn't want to wear anything else but skirts and dresses. Why? She's so beautiful, a nice slim and slender body. She could easily wear tops and skinny jeans, it would look amazing on her, and yet she didn't. I shook my head and stopped for a traffic light. I wish I knew why, perhaps she would tell me later. For now, I had to find a way to train her without making it awkward.

As I arrived, I parked my alt-mode and hopped out. A lady around the mid-forties opened up for me and invited me in as I introduced myself. "So, you're my daughter's boss..." she mocked. I nodded and followed her inside, sitting down as she gestured to me to sit down. She gave me some cola and seated in front of me. Her hazel brown eyes staring straight through my soul. I had to admit that I felt awkward and uneasy. "I would like to have Skyler at work four days a week..." I trailed off but she cut me off. "Let me make something clear..."
My eyes widened a little, "she's my daughter... I decide what will happen to her. She's the only child I have left." she sneered. I blinked, confused and shocked. Her only child? So that means that Skyler had siblings... but she doesn't seem to know that.

"If something happens to her... then I'll kill you myself!" she sneered. My mouth nearly dropped at the aggressive tune in her voice. "All I wanted to ask is one extra day. I am not talking about bringing her in danger..." I was so confused and startled at this point. "Do you have any reason to bring her in danger then?" she snapped. "What? No... she's my responsibility and I like her..." I said. She narrowed her eyes at me, getting really upset with me right now. "If you try anything with her, I'll castrate you personally!" she sneered and got up, pointing at me. I decided to get up as well, making myself bigger. She's not that big after all. "I came here with just one simple question... I have a professional bond with your daughter. I am her superior... " I snapped, losing my temper.

"And I am giving you my point of view, Dino. If you touch her-..." I raised my hand to silence her. "Don't talk to me like that... I am not here to offend you all I want is your daughter at work one extra day. She's free to choose which day... but don't talk to me like that!" I snapped, raising my voice.
When Skyler came into the living room, the scowl on her mother's face faded into a smile. Which was even creepier. I think Skyler noticed my tension and uneasiness, but she casually spoke up. "Don't scare him away, mom. How many visitors do we have?"
I glanced at her mother, the scowl on her face was visible again. "Hi, Dino..." she offered me a weak smile, I saw sadness behind it. I couldn't imagine how hard it had to be for her to live here with a mother so protective. Although, if it's really her last child, then it explains a few things.

"I will talk to Skyler if she can work one day extra."
I huffed and got up, Skyler was about to follow me, but her mom pushed her away and followed instead. "Don't say a word to her about her siblings... and don't come here ever again," with that being said, she slammed the door closed and I left. Talking to her wasn't going to work anyway. Getting back at the base, I needed to talk to someone. So I caught up with my fellow Autobots in the mess hall. They were playing a card game like most of us did around the afternoon or evening.

I sat next to Sideswipe and grunted. "I spoke to Skyler carrier..." I trailed off. The eyes were on me now. "And?" ratchet asked, giving everyone cards. "You know what she said? And I swear I am not overreacting... She told me that if I attempt to get a romantic relationship with her daughter she'll castrate me personally!"
Most of them gave me a look that told me how they were thinking about the current situation. "She was so hostile. I did nothing to piss her off, I only had one question, but apparently, Skyler's siblings died... so that explains why her carrier is so protective over her. She's her only child..." I added.

"Not a reason to isolate your sparkling so much..." Chromia muttered. "Yeah, I know... she decides everything for her. What she eats, what does, if she works or not... everything. It's not healthy for Skyler either. She likes to interact with people... I mean, you all saw how she is... but on the other hand it's not my business..." I sighed, taking the cards Ratchet gave me. "Yeah you are right, that makes it so difficult," Optimus replied.

"She didn't say what happened why she lost her sparklings?" Prowl asked. I shook my head, "I didn't even have the chance to ask anything. She was really aggressive and hostile. Skyler came in and I didn't want to argue with her carrier in front of her so I left," I sighed. "Wise decision...." Ironhide muttered. "The fact is... something bad happened to her and it still affects her, but she doesn't know she has siblings... or how they died. It's strange..." Ratchet muttered. "Well, there isn't much we can do about it... she's not abusing her," Prowl muttered. He's right, Skyler's carrier is treating her very well, but I don't like it she's isolating her...
