basically they spent most of their lifetime together, something not everybody would be able to do. from the exhausting nights to the sunsets hinata tended to fall asleep on kageyama's lap and the other male caressed the redhead's hair.
everything somehow changed when kageyama received a hella lot of confessions in a span of two damn days.
would he reject any of them?
does he already have a girlfriend?
why was it suddenly so hard to text Kageyama?
why couldn't he be honest?

"fuck", kageyama cursed under his breath while rubbing the sweat off his forehead and letting his gaze wander through the team he played with. hinata seemed more nervous than before, knitting his eyebrows in distress and let out a shaky breath.
"kageyama.. don't stare too much", sugawara chuckled, probably he noticed hinata's expression under kageyama's stare.
"whatever", the taller boy grumbled one final time before returning to the game once again.

after their match, everybody got ready to leave the club room and congratulated each other while passing by.
hinata and kageyama were the only ones left as awkward silence spread and kageyama took out his phone.
"oi, hinata", kageyama mumbled while searching something on his phone hastily.
"hm?", hinata questioned and turned to kageyama who was holding his phone up to show him the display. discord was opened and the friend request bar was activated, obviously for hinata to type in his username and tag.
hesitantly hinata started typing in everything of his profile and sent himself a friend request. after giving kageyama his phone back, he retrieved his own out of his pocket and accept the friend request of..
"heartbreakerboy2212?", hinata questioned and held his stomach to suppress the pain of holding back his laughter once he finished reading it out loud. kageyama's face reddened and he audibly scoffed, snatching hinata's phone out of the latter's grip and read though some chats.
"ain't my fault miwa gave me that name and told me to not change it if i wanna keep the nitro she bought me..", kageyama explained while scrolling through the chats hinata had with others.
"your broke ass would allow anything as long as you keep the filthy money with ya, right?", the redhead commented on the fact that his teammate just simply had to withstand everything he was forced upon due to the payment of his sister.
"i got it since today and wanted you to be my first friend on there", kageyama admitted and lowered his head just to advert his gaze from the locking of ocean irises and chocolate orbs.
"i'm probs the only friend you have so- JUST KIDDING JUST KIDDING OUCH KAGEYAMAAAA", he teased at the beginning and started whining when the latter gripped his fluffy hair with an intimidating glare on his face.
and so, this weird but close relationship of the two started. just because of miwa's special nitro payment and hinata's weird gordon ramsay profile picture.
