Chapter 22: Don't leave me

[January 31]

The end of the month soon came and Tatsu was forgetting the fact that Amy had to leave soon and go back to their home.

While Tatsu was busy playing Monopoly with his friend Kanna's dorm with a few other people, he received a text from Amy.

[Amieee]

Amieee:
hey are you in your dorm?
cant seem to find you around here

Tatsushii:
oh sorry i was in my friends dorm
im on my way there

Amieee:
okayy

"Uh, hey Kanna? I got to go somewhere real quick, someone's calling me." Tatsu got up and dashed out the dorm. His dorm was just near Kanna's so walking isn't much of a problem. Kanna didn't have time to respond and just nodded.

Tatsu finally arrived. "Why are you here?" he asked. "And why are you holding so many bags?"

"Oh, I asked my mom to visit your dorm and say goodbye before I return back." Amy replied in a sad tone.

"O-Oh..." Tatsu felt tears well in his eyes.

"Yeah..." Amy looked down to her feet. "Promise we'll meet again with the others right?"

"Promise." Tatsu couldn't hold back his tears any more. He didn't get why he cares so much about some girl that he met again after years and years of not meeting. Why does he love her so much? Thoughts rambled in his brain and words just spilled out of his quivering lips.

"Amy I- can you- I- I just-" Tatsu stumbled with his words didn't know what to say next and just hugged her tightly for one last time until they meet again. He sobbed. He sobbed hard.

"Amy please... Don't leave me..." Tatsu said firmly. 

"Wha- but I have too- I'm sorry. It's not like I'll be gone forever or something-"

"I CAN'T STAND YOU BEING AWAY FROM ME ANY LONGER. YOU'RE DRVING ME CRAZY EACH PASSING DAY. I DON'T GET IT. WHY AM I SO- WHY DO I NEED YOU SO MUCH-" Tatsu yelled. "Fucking romance bullshit why does it have to be so hard. It's stupid. It's fucking stupid. It has gotten to the point where I'm obsessed being around you. I like you Amy I like- No. I love you. I just can't. I can't any more."

Amy was shocked. She didn't even utter a single word.

"I'm sorry. Just, go. You can go. I'm sorry. Why am I like this. Why am I so possessive. I'm not even yours." Tatsu felt weak. And Amy being silent made him panic. But the next move Amy did shook Tatsu to the core, he felt weaker when Amy held him by the hand, the other behind his head and gently placed her lips against his. The kiss was long and passionate. Like this was bound to happen and both were waiting for this moment and more of Tatsu's tears rolled down his cheeks.

"I knew you felt the same." Amy grinned. "You're so adorable. I love you too you know." she caressed his tear-stained cheeks wiping away them one by one. "That one time when I accidentally made you drunk, which I'm still guilty for... I just knew you felt the same."

"W-wait- you liked me?" Tatsu widened his eyes. "Of course idiot. Why couldn't I resist someone like you?" Amy made him blush with those words.

"Well there are lots of reasons to not like me, first off I'm a mentally unstable assho-"

Amy shut him up with another kiss. "Nonsense. You're perfect just the way you are."

"Take this." Amy pulled out a container of pancakes in her bag. "I made some with the leftover batter. They're tiny pancakes."

"Aww, so cute."

"Just like you."

"Ah, shut up."

Amy just laughed. "So... is it official? Are we?"

"Yeah." Tatsu hugged Amy putted his arms around her head while laughing.

Amy picked Tatsu up by the waist and spun around. You know. The usual lovey dovey couple typa thing. They both laughed until Amy needed to go.

"Well, see you soon..." Amy quickly thought of a callsign. "...sweetheart." as Tatsu clenched his shirt as if he got a heart attack. "Enjoy my pancakes."

 [3:56 PM]

It had been a few hours since that happened and Tatsu still hasn't moved on about the kiss. He did it. He has a girlfriend. He's finally happy but... Amy's not there.

[Amieee]

Amieee:
hi sweethawrt (~ uwo)~

Tatsushii:
stop calling me that i turn red every time

Amieee:
thats the point hehe <3
anyways
when are you graduating?

Tatsushii:
in like uhh
wait lemme go check

Amieee:
take your time <3333

Tatsushii:
in 2 or 3 months...

Amieee:
oh
cant wait for you to graduate and i can have you for myself >:3

Tatsushii:
aMYYASJDJ
welp ttyl i have lots to do since im graduating soon ;-;

Amieee:
okayy love yu <33

Tatsushii:
lobe u 2 👉👈

Amieee:
think of me while eating the pancakes (*/ω＼*)

Tatsushii:
will sure do im ✨eating them right now✨

And then he did, while sitting in his dorm alone eating the tiny pancakes smiling each bite, he kept blushing and laughing to himself.
