Chapter 14: Mountain

As Christmas break has started, Tatsu couldn't be more happier because he was finally free from the shit load of work teachers had given them. But at the same time, he was devastated to spend his break without his friends, because his family decided to go to some random mountain vacation place thing and he had no contact with them because... well... its a mountain and the connection there wasn't stable much.

Tatsu sood hopped in his uncle's van after loading his heavy ass bag in. He soon chatted his friends to let them know.

hey guys, ill be going to some vacation place thing on a mountain and the networks not stable there
i might not be as much as active for a week

As Tatsu closed his phone, he felt someone lean onto him.

Tatsu's cousin, Dyno, who was next to him peeked at his phone and asked "Who you chatting there?"

"None of your business." Tatsu replied with sass as Dyno scoffed then stifled a laugh.

"You're still sassy as ever."

As they were near to the place they were heading to, Tatsu had already fell asleep.

"I like yo cut g." Fred slapped his head to wake him up. "AH-" Tatsu screeched.

After they got off the van, Tatsu admired the view from the mountain as other set up the tent. "Woah." He was lost in thought seeing the beauty of the rose-tinted sky.

"Pretty right?" Tatsu's mom stood next to him. He flinched a bit but soon snapped out it. "Yeah."

"You know, your father proposed to me at this time of the day." his mom suddenly said. "Thats why 5PM is my favorite."

Amy came in Tatsu's mind again. The thought of them being engaged under these pretty skies is just so...

Agh, why am I thinking of this.

Everyone was fast asleep. Tatsu needed to go to the bathroom. Good thing he was near the tent's exit. He shivered as the cold wind blew on him.

After doing his business in the bathroom. He went somewhere open and laid down. Stargazing was one of his favorite things. He grabbed his guitar and played some tunes as he watched the stars.

"Tatsu?" Dyno asked half-asleep.

"Oh, hi Dyno."

"What are you doing up so early?"

"I thought it would be a good idea to stargaze while playing." Tatsu chuckled.

"I guess so..." Dyno said as he sat next to Tatsu.

"Eating chicken at 4AM is literally the best, my hunger woke me up." Dyno said as he opened the plastic bag he was holding.

"Can I have some?"

"You'll stain your guitar."

"I'll stop playing it then."

"Your chicken will taste like guitar strings."

"Wh- Let me go wash my hands then."

Tatsu got up as Dyno burst into laughter.

"Can I have some now?" Tatsu asked finished washing his hands. "Good, here you go."

As the sun started to rise, they already finished the bucket of chicken.

"Oh by the way, who were you chatting earlier?" Dyno was still curious.

"Its just some friend group."

"Do you like someone?" Dyno said in a teasing tone.

"No." Tatsu replied coldly.

"Come onnnnn, we're like, so close. And we even showered together onc-" Dyno got hit by Tatsu.

"Do not remind me of that." Tatsu gave him a death stare.

"Wha- Anyways, are you crushing on someone?" Dyno asked, still curious.

"You're acting really weird right now."

"Just tell meeeee."

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"If I told you would you shut up?" Tatsu snapped

"Maybe, no, yes, yes I will." Dyno said hesitantly.

"There's this girl named Amy, that I really admire and like a lot. That's all I have to say." Tatsu said.

"Aww c'mon no other details?" Dyno pouted.

"Nope."
