Chapter 19: Woozy

Tatsu woke up and rubbed his eyes but when he tried to get up, he noticed that he still was in Amy's arms, holding him tightly. He smiled to himself and held her hand that was in front of him. It was an amazing cuddling session until Tatsu released the most unholy, beast-sounding sneeze. Amy groaned, half-asleep as Tatsu panicked and looked behind his shoulder just to find out Amy slowly opening her eyes, revealing two pretty brown eyes.

"Oh, uh, good morning... I guess." Tatsu struggled to remove Amy's hands from him. "Oh my god- I am so sorry- I-" Amy, now, was the one panicking. "No no it's okay-"

I liked it anyway.

Tatsu proceeded to brush his teeth. After that, he sat on in front of his study table. "H-Hey what are you doing? You said I could help." Amy grabbed Tatsu's shoulder. "I'm just getting started with this-"

"I don't care, where do I help."

"U-Uh, here, can you organize this for me?" Tatsu gave her a few papers. "It's better if I just did this myself, honestly."

"So you're saying I wont do any good?"

"N-No! That's not what I meant-"

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding."

And so they went on for hours, Amy tried her best to help the struggling boy. Tatsu almost lost it and scream from all of the pressure but Amy, being the angel she is, calmed his insane ass.

It was already past noon. It was finally done. Tatsu thought it'll take him days to finish but thanks to Amy that he luckily encountered her at his place, treated him boba, be with him, and helped him finish his work that only took a few hours.

"Holy shit. Thank you so much. I don't deserve you." Tatsu exclaimed. "Oh, it's nothing." Amy said flustered. Then she asked him "Anyways, wanna go out and go to random places?"

"Sure, where do you wanna go?" Tatsu asked.
"Where do YOU wanna go?" Amy returned the question.
"Well, uh... we could go to a cafe or... go to your place. Since it's Saturday tomorrow and I don't have a shift for the convenience store now and tomorrow... so..." Tatsu shrugged.

"Alright." Amy grabbed Tatsu by the wrist and pulled him out of his dorm. "H-Hey-"

And so their small adventure through Tatsu's town began. They first went to a clothing store where they both laughed at the ridiculously terrible designed jackets and their vibrant, eye-straining colors.

"Hey Tatsu, Tatsu, look!" Amy stood infront of him trying out one of the terribly designed jackets and made Tatsu cackle and wheeze, he sounded like a broken ass motorcycle that has been abandoned for years.

"Tatsu what the fuck was that laugh I-" Amy then joined in the cackling-wheezing session and people who passed by the jacket aisle gave weird looks but they couldn't care less. Those two idiots came out of the shop with nothing bought but instead made memories that they'll probably cringe at.

"Next stop, uhhhh-" Tatsu thought out loud when a lightbulb popped above Amy's head "Wanna go to the apartment I'm staying at for now?"

Aw hell yeah.

"Let's have breakfast there since we ate nothing." Amy suggested then noticed Tatsu zoning out, again. "Uh, hello...?"

"O-Oh, sure."

The two then hopped in a taxi as Amy told the driver her address. The drive was silent but Tatsu tried to make it less awkward by playing random songs he downloaded on his phone.

"You listen to Conan Gray too?" Amy asked leaning towards Tatsu peeking at his screen. "Yeah, he's amazing at singing." Tatsu smirked then zoned out, aGAIN. WHEN WILL THIS BITCH FUCKING FOCUS I SWEAR TO GO-

Alright, Conan Gray's gonna be our wedding song-

"Ma'am, Sir, we're here." The driver politely informed. "Oh, thank you, here you go." Amy handed the driver money.

Tatsu shyly got out of the car and followed Amy towards their apartment room. It was small, but enough to make room for plenty of people.

"Woah, cute room." Tatsu admired her small room decorated with fairy lights and random anime action figures. He evn saw what he gifted her and blushed a bit.

"Thanks~" Amy replied. "Do you wanna drink something? I have water here, it's in this weird bottle. Kinda cute. My friend gave it to me before I moved out and spend my vacation here at your town near your school, didn't expect it to meet you here though."

"When will you start going to school again?"

"Well... I don't know, I might stop college and just become a singer or something. Y'know, except for my parents, you're the first person I told you about this."

"You want to become a performer?"

"Yeah."

But if you did, millions of people would simp on you and not just me.

"Here's your water by the way."

"T-Thanks." Tatsu said in a sad tone.

Amy suddenly plopped on her bed and groaned: "I'm boreedddddd..."

"This water tastes weird but who cares, I'm thirsty." Tatsu joked as Amy chuckled.

Tatsu played with his necklace as he remember something. "How are they?"

"What do you mean?"

"Y'know, Octave and other peeps."

"Oh... well... I lost connection with then and the group chat isn't as active as before. Kinda sad."

"Can't we reunite or something? Like let's go over to someone's place and party or something."

What Tatsu said shocked Amy, she never seen him as a party person. All she can see is a shy adorable boy.

"I feel disappointed, as the party person in this friend group. To not think of such an amazing idea." Amy jokingly face-palmed as Tatsu cracked up.

Tatsu's laugh made her stare at him for a while. He looked so angelic, and he never heard his laugh for a long time. Her eyes sparkled as he watched the boy bust his lungs.

Little does she know the reason he was acting so unusual that he's been feeling a little... woozy...
