It was already Monday. Time flies so fast. It was another usual school day, like any other. To summarize the day, he luckily got in a group for a performance task with some smart and topper students, ate lunch together with his friends, and hanged out in the garden to read a book alone at lunch.

But after classes were finished, Tatsu saw something that he wasn't expecting... something that made his heart sink.

He just had finished organizing his things in his locker and packing up his bags when he decided to go to the canteen since he was starving. On the way there he saw someone near the girl's bathroom sitting down and her head towards the ground. She had her wrists hidden and there was this... small blade she held.

It was Amy. She did not expect people still on the campus since it's already 5 pm and their classes ended 30 minutes ago. After Tatsu identified who the person was, he ran towards her with a worried expression plastered on his face.

"Amy?!" Tatsu paused for a second. "A-Amy, what are you doing here so late?" Amy panicked and hid the blade she was holding in the pocket of her hoodie. "Oh, well, I just-" Amy thought of a lie, "I was just- I felt nauseous and sat for a while. Don't worry, I'm feeling better."

"Is there any way I can help?" Tatsu said, still looking worried. "No, I'm fine, I'll be okay... just... leave me here." Amy uttered.

"Do you want to go to the canteen? To eat? I can buy you some." Tatsu asked, making Amy shout. "N-no thank you."

Tatsu led a hand and helped her stand up. "Thanks." Amy mumbled. "Wanna walk home together?" Tatsu suggested.

"Sure."

[Tatsu and Amy's DMs]

Tatsushii:

MUFFIN:

Tatsushii:

hope u feel better :)

MUFFIN:
thankshhh

Tatsu wasn't very sure about that, he knew he saw something shiny and sharp that she held before she hid it after noticing he was there, and that made him think a lot. He suspected that she was... cutting herself? No, that can't be true... can it? He couldn't just let someone suffer like that, especially someone that he cared about so much, too much. He knew she was not ok. And it wasn't just that she is a bit sick and nauseous, she looked tired. Mentally and emotionally tired.

[Amy's Point Of View]

I can't believe I just got away with that. I took the blade out of my pocket and stared at it for a while, I then peeked at my slitted wrists and stifled a laugh. I grabbed the pack of bandages on my night stand near my bed and hid the cuts so nobody would suspect. Soon my eyes swelled and tears began rolling down my cheeks. It has been my nightly routine, to cry myself to sleep. I just lied to one of my closest friends. I'm so fucking dumb. What am I doing with my life?

I let out a sigh of frustration, staring at the ceiling, feeling empty and a void in my heart that nothing seems to fill.

[End of Amy's POV]

Amy soon drifted off to sleep with her cheeks stained with dried tears.

[8:04 AM]

It was the next day, Amy was still in bed and classes started an almost an hour ago. She was marked as late and she couldn't care less. Her friends noticed her red and irritated eyes that was from all the crying last night.

She kept lying about her condition because she doesn't want to feel like a burden and just let her emotions eat her up.

"Amy how many hours did you sleep last night?" Octave asked noticing the dark circles under her eyes. "Huh? Did you say something?" Amy looked at Octave's direction and stopped zoning out.

"How many hours did you sleep last night?" Octave repeated. "Oh, uh, five. I was busy doing some project." Amy gave him a faint smile. "Oh, ok."
