Chapter 7: A Sudden Visit

[September 30, 7:23 AM]

Soon Amy's birthday finally came. Tatsu was so excited and so was the others. With their own gifts for her... it was just their usual culture as friends. One time, Octave was so extra he bought a mickey mouse shaped waffle maker for his 12th birthday.

Tatsu was about to go to Amy's seat when he noticed her bag wasn't there.

Tatsu froze in his spot and looked around with the gift in his hands.

"Hey Cloud?" Tatsu nudged him.

"Oh hey Tatsu, what's up?" Cloud greeted him.

"Where's Amy?" He asked obviously looking worried.

"I don't know, I'm sorry. Well she looked weak yesterday so I'm guessing she decided to stay home." Cloud suggested.

Tatsu nodded and walked away to make his way to his seat.

He pulled out his phone, and open his DMs with Amy.

lolol anyways ill be fine my parents asked the teachers to send the homework and lessons to me so i wont miss out ^^
anyways gtg im gonna doze off i feel dizzy as hell

This day felt long as hell, it was the worst. He didn't know how the survive a day without her. She was like his drug.

Until...

"Hey! Do y'all wanna surprise Amy later?"

"Huh- what? Excuse me?" Tatsu snapped out of his mind that keeps worrying about Amy.

"Do you all want to surprise Amy in her house later?" Skadi repeated.

"That's a great idea! But we have to ask permission to her parents first before we barge into their house." Armer added.

"I'm going to go home first, this uniform is not comfortable for a surprise party." Tatsu informed them.

"Alright, how about the cake?" Monji asked as his stomach started to growl. "I'm thinking to buy a cheap one, share the price, and someone's gonna buy it while the others prepare the other shit."

"Alright. All we gotta do now is to assign duties." Gabe added.

And the surprise party was set.

Tatsu was the third one to arrive at their meeting spot in a convenience store where they'll be meeting up before going to Amy's house together.

Once they were complete, they all started to walk with each holding something to gift Amy.

[Amy's POV]

I was still in bed, feeling terrible with high temperature. My forehead and neck were hot as hell. My nose was runny. It was lame I can't see my beloved friends.

Suddenly I heard some whispering down the hallways and a bit of giggling, I was creeped out when suddenly-

"HAPPY BIIIIIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHAY TOOUUU YOUUUUUU."" A strange familiar voice was heard.

Amiel had no idea what was going on, but when she had a clearer vision of whose voices were those sounds were coming from, she was suprised and got shocked by the sudden visitation.

"Wha- why are you guys here?" Amiel asked, confused as heck.

"Happy birthday! You think we would forget?" Octave yeeted the gift towards her and luckily Amy catched it.

"Hey! Why did you throw it at her-" Tatsu yelped.

Octave stared at him with a smug look on his face teasing him for being protective of Amy.

"Why are you looking at me like that, jackass." Tatsu replied.

"What did I do?" Octave tried to act innocent.

Soon the celebration began but sadly, Amy stayed in her bed almost all the time. It also started to rain heavily.

Amy's mother had prepared the food since they have contacted her that they were going and so that they wouldn't be mistaken for robbers.

[5:03 PM]

A few moments later, Tatsu squeaked.

"GUYS!"

Everyone turned their faces in his direction.

"THERE ARE NO CLASSES UNTIL MONDAY!"

Everyone cheered as they heard the news. These days are pretty rainy after all, the rain was heavy, the sound of raindrops hitting the roof of the house is a perfect match for a cup of coffee.

"How about we stay here for the night of the rain lasts until night... or something." Monji suggested looking sleepy.

"I'm down." Skadi agreed.

The others agreed as well.

They soon got bored after all the stuff they did, games, talking about random stuff, and other stuff just for the sake of Amy's happiness. They were all eating ice cream when Amy suggested:

"Do you guys want to watch a movie until we feel sleepy? I have Netflix."

"Yeshh." Monji said suddenly looking excited as if he didn't look like he was about to crash in bed earlier.

"Weren't you sleepy?" Skadi asked.

"Scratch that." he replied.

"Wh-" Skadi got cut off when Amy asked:

"What do you guys want to watch?"

"BARBIE SWAN LAKE PLEASEEE!" Gabe begged.

"I DISAGREE." Cloud suddenly stood up. "BARBIE A MERMAID TALE IS WAAAAAY BETTER."

"BITCH, YOU THINK YOUR MERMAIDS ARE SUPERIOR THAN BALLET??" Gab argued.

"YES I DO OF COURSE, THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE ESPECIALLY WHEN BARBIE SHOPPED FOR MERMAID TAILS AND SHE CAN BREATHE UNDERWATER. SHE IS LITERALLY POSEIDON. AND YOUR BALLET SWAN LAKE SHIT CAN'T COMPETE WITH THAT." Cloud debated.

"WELL-" Gabe thought of a response. "I BET YOUR MERMAID SHENANIGANS CANT COMPETE WHEN THEY DANCED IN SOME FOREST THINGY LOOKING ALL PRETTY AND WHAT THEY DID IN A MERMAIDS TALE IS JUST SWIM AND DO RANDOM SHIT."

Cloud was about to pull out his 9-inch long plastic toy knife he stole from Amy's sister for some reason but then Tatsu stopped them.

"Guys what the fuck!?"

"YOU DECIDE WHAT MOVIE'S BETTE-"

Amy had already picked a good movie and they were all ready to watch. They went to the convenience store the others were in earlier to buy some snacks, mostly popcorn.

Tatsu was about to sit in a corner where he would watch the movie but then Octave grabbed his wrists and "accidentally" sat him next to Amy. Tatsu glared and mouthed at Octave "What the fuck." and Octave smirked and sat on another spot away from them giving them space just like the wingman he is.
