you stood in kageyama's room, rummaging through his closet in attempt to find something for him to wear to the party.

kageyama sat on his bed, scrolling away on his phone to pass time.

"i swear, tobio. after this damn party, we're going out shopping for clothes." you say, pulling out a light blue sweater and a pair of jeans from out of his closet. kageyama didn't really care much about attire— you could obviously tell by the looks of his closet. "put this on!"

kageyama dropped his phone onto the bed as he stood up. "my clothes are perfectly fine though."

"yeah, sure." you shoved the clothes into his hands as he walked up to you. "i've never seen this sweater before."

kageyama looked down at the clothes you picked. "er- i haven't really worn it out before."

"well, todays the day." you said as you grabbed the handle to his door. "tell me when its okay to come back in." you added as you left his room, closing the door behind you.

you hear movement in his room.

"okay, come look." you hear kageyama say from inside. you walked back in.

you couldn't help but smile as you looked up at your boyfriend. the light blue sweater was oversized on him— and you could barely see his hands because of how the long sleeves covered them. the jeans you picked also complimented it all really nicely. "you look really cute."

"cute?!" you watched as a cringe formed on kageyama's face.

you walked up to him.

"you've always been cute."

HINATA'S POV

it had been an hour since the party started, and it was so much fun!

there were so many people from different schools and stuff, and it felt really big and crowded. the music was extremely loud— it almost hurt my ears. and the overwhelming smell of cigarettes and alcohol filled the air. it felt like i had just walked into tanaka's apartment.. it was so cool!

i came here with nishinoya, tanaka, and kageyama. but i don't know where the first two went. knowing them, they probably followed some girls around or something. kageyama and i stood in the kitchen.

"do we even know whose house this is?" kageyama said as he leaned up against the counter.

"nope!"

i noticed that kageyama's choice of clothes for tonight was pretty different. i was surprised that he didn't just show up in basketball shorts and a t-shirt like i did.

"i should probably go look for noya-san and tanaka-senpai.. coach ukai would be mad if they got into trouble." i told kageyama and he nodded in agreement.

"yeah, go do that. ill be here." kageyama said, and i went off.

i couldn't find kageyama after that.
