Chapter 24

Niall's POV
London and I leave for our date in 20 minutes and I'm nervous. I mean we are confident around each other but this is a date that's a lot of pressure on someone. London walked out of her room with a black dress on her hair was curled and half up. She looked beautiful. "Wow you look amazing." I said with a smile. "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." She said with a chuckle.

"Mom your going to be okay right." London asked her mom. She has been dredding this all day because this is the first time we are leaving Addie for a few hours. "Honey I promise we will be fine I have your numbers if anything happens ill call you." Her mom said. "What do you mean is anything happens?" London asked as she panicked. "Lon I was just saying if anything happens nothing is going to happen now go have fun." She said than pushed us out of the house.

"London I promise she will be fine." I said. "I know it's just this is the first time we have left the house since she was born and we don't have her with us it's scary." She said. "I know but she's with someone we can trust." I said with a smile. "Yeah your right so where are we going?" She asked. "We are going to Maude." I said. Maude is a really nice restaurant that Harry recommend to me. "Oh fun my mom told me about that place that's where Mike asked her to marry him." She said. "Oh that's nice." I said and she shot me a smile.

"Hello welcome to Maude what is your reservation under?" The lady asked. "It's under Horan." I said. this place is really nice thank you styles. "Ah okay right this way."She said than led up to our table. "Wow this is so pretty." London said with a smile. "Yeah it sure is nice." I said with a chuckle. "Hello my name is Mark and I will be your waiter today what can I get you to drink?" He asked. "I'll take the red wine." I said. "I'll have a lemonade please." London said.

The waiter brought back our drinks and gave us both a smile than we ordered. "Sometimes I forget I can't be drinking right now." London said. "I don't picture you as a big drinker anyways." I said. "I'm not the most I dank was my 21st birthday than I got pregnant, and now I Brest feed so it just isn't worth it." She said with a smile. "I'm not sure what to talk about I mean we see each other everyday." She said with a chuckle. "Yeah I know oh uh when are you wanting to go back to work?" I asked. "My plan is after I lose my baby weight." She said.

"London you went back to the way you looked when I first met you, you look perfect." I said. "Thank you Niall but under this dress is still a bit of fat." She said with a smile. "Anyways what are your plans for next year?" She asked. "Well our fifth album is coming out next year than we have our tour. I'll be working till December." I said. "Wow you really do have a busy life." She said. "Yeah but I am going to try and be there for Addison. And that offer of you two coming back with me is still up." I said. "I'm still thinking because I don't want to raise her on a tour bus and in hotel rooms but I also want to show her around the world and I want to travel but I don't it's hard." She said. "Take all the time you need." I said.

Our waiter brought us our food and we dug in. "So I can't wait to meet your family." London said than took a bite of her food. "They are really excited, my mom already got you a Christmas present." I said. "Awe Niall she didn't have to do that." She said. "That's how she is, she's really nice and you'll love her." I said. "She seems really nice how about your dad?" She asked. "Oh yeah he's coming he's a really nice person just he wasn't to keen on me becoming a dad at such a young age." I said. "Oh well I just can't wait to meet them." She said with a smile.

"Thank you for taking me out Niall." She said. "Your welcome but I wanted to." I said. I looked at her and reached me hand over and brushed her hair back and cupped her cheeks. I connected our lips for a good 30 seconds and she pulled back. "Niall my sister told me why you can't let me fall in love with you. I just want to know why go through all of this trouble if I can't fall for you." She said. "London I have never been one to be good at relationships I can't talk to girls and I am never around. It would be like your dating nothing. And it would end up hurting both of us at the end and now that Addison is here I can't put you both through that." I said. "I get it." Was all she said.

"Uh I have something for you." I said. I reached in the glove department and pulled out a envelope. "What's this?" She asked. "At any point you want to come with me to London weather it's the day I leave or 3 months after I leave there's two tickets for you and Addie." I said. "I'll keep that In mind thank you." She said with a smile. I drove us back to the apartment and we both walked up to her place.

"Hi babies how was your date?" Her mom asked. "It was great where's Addison?" London asked with a smile. "She's sleeping." She said. "Thank you for watching her." I said. "Oh it's no big deal we had fun." She said with a smile. "I'm going to head out I'm only a call away if you two need anything." She said than grabbed her stuff and walked out. After London and I got dressed and comfortable for a movie we heard a loud squeal come from Addisons room. "I'll go check on her." I said.

"Awe princess what's wrong." I said as I picked her up, she was still crying. I walked out to the living room and gave London a frown. "I think she's hungry." I said. "I'll go feed her." She said as she stood up and took her from my arms. It has been a good hour since London took her back to her room to feed her. I stood up and walked back to the nursery and knocked on the door. No answer. I opened the door and seen both London and Addison sleeping in the rocking chair. I took Addison from London's arms and carefully placed her in her crib.

I than picked up London bridal style and carried her back to her room. I wish my life wasn't so complicated. "Niall." I heard. "Sorry if I woke you." I said. "No you didn't but do you want to stay?" She asked. I turned around to look at her, she looks exhausted. "The couch has to be uncomfortable my bed is big enough for both of us. This doesn't have to mean anything." She said. But what if it does mean something? I smiled at her and walked over to her bed and climbed in. She turned off the lights and snuggled up next to me. This feels right.
