Law's Pov

Once I had left the room, I could see Penguin was running up to me with a worried look on his face. "Boss! You need to come quickly one of the patients is going into cardiac arrest!" The man didn't scream at me but he said it just louder than a whisper. "Wait here and inform (Y/n)-ya that I'll be right back. She's changing into a patient's gown so don't bother her"

"Yes, Boss"

(Y/n)'s Pov

"Dr. Trafalgar I'm fi- Where did the Doctor go?" When I didn't see the Doctor in the hallway I got confused since he had just told me that he'd wait there for me. "I'm sorry Miss. (Y/n) but the Doctor had to go tend to another patient having a medical emergency. He should take too long so please just wait in the exam room for him to return"

"A-Are they okay?" When the man told me there was an emergency I began to worry since I didn't realize this clinic had more permanent patients. "Sorry Miss. (Y/n) but that is a private matter. Hopefully, the individual will be fine though Dr. Trafalgar is an incredible Doctor" Slowly nodding my head I returned to my room so I could wait for the Doctor to return. I wanted to go home but if I took too long, I'm sure my Mother would just come over here anyway. My phone still didn't have any service so I decided to play a game instead. "Let's play... Candy Crush"

Law's Pov

"Who is the patient?" When I entered the room, I could see multiple people working on a patient but when my eyes noticed the self-inflicted wounds, I got them to stop. "Tsk. Let this one die. I have someone coming in at three that should be able to replace this one. If that's all you need, I have to get back to my patient" These people were just a number to me and they were so easy to replace if their use ran out. "Yes, Boss. Is that girl downstairs going to be a part of the studies as well?"

"No, she's just a regular patient. I have to administer a flu shot to her after I finish her physical. I'll check on the others later tonight" I didn't allow them time to respond as started back to (Y/n)'s exam room. "Your dismissed Penguin-ya and make sure they don't bother me again. I'm running behind schedule now" As the man retreated down the hallway, I knocked on the door before entering the room. "My apologies (Y/n)-ya there was a small problem with another patient but it's all sorted now. Let's continue with your physical"

Picking up her medical form I scanned it to find out what I needed to do next but the girl interrupted me. "Were they okay?" Shifting my eyes to meet hers I was confused since she seemed worried. "What do you mean (Y/n)-ya?" She held her hands together and quickly responded to what I had asked. "Was the patient you went to check on alright?"

"Yes, why do you ask (Y/n)-ya? Lean back for me" Once she was lying flat, I started pressing down on the stomach and chest looking for any signs of pain. "No reason I was just worried about them. The man said it was an emergency but it's good you were able to help them" Ignoring (Y/n)-ya praise I filled in the form and continued on with the exam. "Alright, you'll need to remove your gown now. There's no need to feel uncomfortable I've done these hundreds of times before"

"You need to answer my next question first... What's your favorite food?" I thought about it for a second before I replied. "Onigiri and grilled fish. What's your favorite food (Y/n)-ya?" After I scanned her body for noticeable irregularity's I turned away looking for another piece of equipment.

Locating my ear scope, I put a fresh tip on and started checked her ears for signs of infection. "I really like bread. Especially French toast with lots of maple syrup" Of course the girl liked bread most people did but I couldn't stand the stuff. "(Y/n)-ya out of curiosity where did you get all these scars?"
