Three Months Later...

(Y/n)'s Pov

It had been months since I have last seen him but I still wasn't sure if he had forgiven me for leaving him. Nothing showed during the trial though I was glad he was there so I could see he was already right. "Do you think he's mad at me Lucci?" My hand had been holding tightly onto Lucci's since arriving but he didn't seem bothered at my actions. "Doubtful. As much of a criminal as he is that man still cares for you" That gave me some confidence though I still didn't want to go in by myself just encase his feelings changed towards me. "Will you stay the whole time?"

"Sure, but we can't stay long. Visiting hours are almost up" He was right and if I didn't hurry, I'd miss him since after six the prison would be closed for the weekend. Besides my Law was waiting at home probably pacing throughout the house. "Okay. Thank you" Taking a deep breath I finally took a step forward as Lucci held the door open. "It's no trouble at all (Y/n)" After we got inside, we didn't have to walk far before a security guard came to greet us. "What brings you here Lucci?"

"She would like to visit Donquixote. I already arranged it" He looked at some papers behind him but quickly nodded but had a worried expression on his face. "Hm, are you sure that's a good idea?" I let Lucci do the talking since he could do a bring job than me when it came to convincing people to stand down. "There's no talking her out of it" I expected him to say a little more but I guess that was all it took. "Very well. Please follow me and little girl try not to make eye connection with the prisoners'"

I wasn't going to make a comment on what he called me however I didn't see why it mattered if I looked at someone. "Why?" It was strange although I had never visited a prison before so maybe it was just a rule. "They're not a nice bunch" I left it at that since I didn't want to bother him anymore and we walked further into the building I noticed there was only a single door at the end of the hallway. "Why are they still holding visitation in the common area? I thought that would have been fixed by now for the safety of the public"

"It's a work in process. You'll be on your own from here but just knock on the door when you want to leave" That made me a little bit nervous that we'd be left alone however Lucci had protected me for months so this time wouldn't be any different. "Stay close (Y/n)" My hand tightened around his and as we entered the door, I noticed everyone had turned to stare at us. It was making me a little uncomfortable, I tried to look away but I only manage to lock eyes with one of the prisoners. By the time I finally turned away I was left with goosebumps although I focused on the task, I originally came in here to accomplish. They weren't any other families visiting, they must have all gone home.

My eyes were still scanning the crowd looking for my dad but when they again locked eyes with the creep from earlier, I froze. "Hey, cutie! Why don't you come over he-ah! What the hell Donquixote!?" Thankfully his sentence was interrupted and it was my father who delivered a pretty good right hook. He didn't look happy though as his foot pressed firmly against the male's chest. "What's your fucking problem Donquixote!?" The foot did move but from that frown on my father's face, I knew he'd put it right back if need be. "Stay the hell away from my daughter" That was good he was calling me that since hopefully it meant the whole court thing didn't matter anymore. "D-Daughter!? I didn't know!"

It would appear like the whole room had heard that since a lot of them started to look away from me when I looked in their direction. "You shouldn't be talking to anyone's kid. I'll deal with you later... What are you doing here kiddo?" He reached me quite quickly but I ducked before his hand could land on top of my head. The gesture was innocent however I just wasn't ready for that after what happened. "Don't touch me" I even took shelter behind Lucci to add some extra protection from the man standing in front of us.
