Doflamingo's Pov

"How much of a delay is this going to cause?" I was growing a little tired of this supplier but currently, they were the only ones that could supply the item I needed. After the next couple of weeks, we'd change that although right now there wasn't enough time for that. "We're sorry Mr. Donquixote but the item you're requesting isn't the easiest thing in the world to get across the border. The best we can promise is within the week" Did these morons not realize ticking me off would be the death of them? Maybe not but at least it would give me something to do.

"Doffy you're going to break that phone in half if you keep squeezing it. Relax dear everything will work out for you" I almost forgot she was still here but when I looked over at the couch, I could see that smirk gracing her fair lips. "Alice be quiet I'm on the phone" Unfortunately I had to put this business first although I shouldn't have worded my reply so boldly. "Oh, I'm sorry I guess you don't want me here the rest of the day. I'll clock out early and you'll pay me overtime"

"Don't be like that" I'd pay her whatever she wanted but I didn't want her to leave just yet. "Like what Mr. Donquixote?" Great I didn't expect them to hear my conversation with my lover though it just pissed me off hearing them interrupt me. "I wasn't fucking talking to you. Get me that item and don't bother calling back until you have it. Goodbye" Dealing with stupid people was really getting to me but maybe my lover would be willing to help take the stress away. She was quite good at calming me down. "I'm still clocking out for the day Doffy. You want to meet up later?"

I would love to spend some time with her later but there was something we still needed to discuss. She hated when I brought it up though, over the last couple of weeks, I noticed this change within her, and I couldn't figure it out. "Alice when are you planning o-" Just like countless times before her eyes narrowed as she cut me off but I didn't hold it against her as I held my tongue. "Doflamingo don't. We're not going to discuss him... and besides. Neither mind I'll talk to you later. Have a good night"

"Is something on your mind Alice? You've been tense lately. Did I do something that you didn't like?" It was very possible I had angered the girl but when she turned back to look at me, I noticed a frown had replaced her smile.  "Would you like a list? Heeheehee. Don't worry Doffy if you did anything wrong, I'd be giving you a piece of my mind right now" That was a forced smile and I knew those well but it made no sense as to why she would need to lie about her emotions. Even if the behavior was strange, I didn't want to push her into telling me so I changed the subject. "Are you sure I can't bring you home with me? I just want to keep you all to myself"

"Sorry boss but I should get back. Walk me to my car?" Even if it seemed small, I could do that for her without a single complaint. "Sure, thing love" This was usually how the days at the office ended between us but maybe one day she'd finally consider going home with me instead. Although that bastard of a husband she had was standing in my way, he'd be out of the picture soon enough if my plans were approved by her. "Thanks, Doffy. You're the best"

The past was comforting but as my little one's voice filled my ears I looked back to the warehouse before I retrieved the required item from my trunk. "Help me!! Law I need you!!" (Y/n) really needed to stop screaming she was going to give herself a sore throat if this childish behavior continued. "Times running out Doflamingo. Get off your ass and stop wasting my time" She had become so cold but it was nice to hear her voice again, my lovely Alice. "Alice where were you?"

"That doesn't matter Doflamingo. Do you have the book?" Of course, I had that book it was however difficult to find but I made it happen. "Right here my love" It was bound in human skin though one would not notice that small detail without looking for it. Such a unique detail and one I could appreciate. "Well let's begin. You know what must be done" Alice made the plan sound so simple and over the past few months, I made sure I knew exactly what needed to happen. "I believe so"
