Law's Pov

Maybe taking the girl into the office wasn't the best idea but there was little I could do about it now. "(Y/n)-ya please don't touch that" She was going to break something at this rate however my (Y/n) was bored and that wasn't good. I probably had a toy she could play with but I had to find it first. "Sorry Law. Can I touch this?" Thankfully I had located an item that would keep her busy and as I looked up, I noticed a glass object within her hands. "No, that's fragile. Here play with this" It was held out for her to take but (Y/n) showed no interest in taking it. "I don't want that"

"(Y/n)-ya it's going to be a long day if you can't find something to entertain yourself with. Please put my vase down it's not a toy" That vase didn't cost much, she could throw it against the wall for all I cared although currently, she wasn't wearing any shoes to protect her feet from broken glass. "I know it's not a toy but I'm bored and you're supposed to keep me happy. After all, that's why I came to work with you Law" That was sweet but unfortunately I had a job that required my full attention for at least a couple of hours. "I'm working (Y/n) and I can't play with you until after the clinic closes for the day. Lunch is in two hours I'll keep you company then but right now I have a patient. Wait here please"

Leaving her in my office was the safest option and I even put that vase far out of her reach before I headed towards the door. "Where is Penguin?" She did like bothering that male although that one was currently sitting at home not doing his job. "He didn't bother showing up for work this morning" I could tell that disappointed (Y/n) but still her hand found its way around mine as she replied. "Oh, who else is here?"

There wasn't many staff in today although before I could inform her of the people in the building someone walked into the office. The male didn't even bother to knock either. "Boss I have those files you want- Good morning (Y/n) how are you?" I felt her hand tighten and I took that as a sign she was scared but relaxed as I took in that look of awe on her face. "A new person" It wasn't said very loud however perhaps if (Y/n) was okay with it he could entertain her until lunch. "Thank you Clione-ya. Would you be interested in keeping an eye on (Y/n)-ya for me?"

"I'm still running those tests you requested this morning but Uni is available. He was playing games on his phone in the med room again and is most likely still in there" We'd need to discuss that again but with (Y/n) here I wasn't about to yell at my employees. That could wait until later in the week or if she decided to have a nap in my office, I'd deal with it then. "I thought I made it a rule he was supposed to give up his phone when at work. Come along (Y/n)-ya" She was quick to run towards the door but stopped short to wait for me. "Oh, and there's another thing Boss. That patient in exam four is requesting to see her"

His finger pointed straight at (Y/n) although I wish he hadn't said anything with her in the room. "Who is the patient?" I probably shouldn't have asked that since the moment he answered my blood ran cold. "Donquixote Alice" So, she had taken his last name? I didn't care much, but I noticed she was starting to shake as I looked to (Y/n). "Who allowed that woman inside the building? She is not welcome here" I wanted (Y/n) to join my side but for whatever reason, that woman had appeared behind her and I opened my arms just waiting for her to run over. "There's no need to be such a brat Trafalgar. I'm only here for a check-up and to see my daughter"

"Ahhh! Law protect me!" Just like that I found (Y/n) taking shelter behind me although her hands had also formed fists around my lab coat. I wasn't going to pay her much mind until this current threat was taken care of and if I needed to kill her then so be it. "You're nothing but a murderer and you have no right being here. Please leave Alice-ya before I'm forced to kill you myself" She was outnumbered but as she spoke, I realized why (Y/n) had been so upset last night. "Tsk. I didn't think you'd be the type to murder pregnant women"
