Doflamingo's Pov

With my brother gone I was left with (Y/n) but she didn't even make an attempt to touch the plate of cookies nearby. I'm not sure when her last meal was though if she was planning to start a hunger strike it wasn't going to end well for her. "Aren't you going to eat your cookies (Y/n)?" Even if all this just made up in my head, I still wanted her to eat. "No, do you want them?" It was good she decided to speak to me but I couldn't have her not eating. "Have at least one cookie and I'll eat one with you"

"I don't really like cookies and that lady isn't a good cook. Look there even burnt" The tops looked fine but the moment she turned over one I could see just how burnt they were. "Fufufu. I guess you're right. What do you like to eat?" I wanted to know more about her even if the facts turned out to be false. Although the moment she looked up from the plate I noticed something was different. "You shouldn't be worrying about me much Doflamingo. She's in danger you know and there's not much time to save her life"

"Of course, I should worry about you. You're my daughter (Y/n)" To that the girl only shook her head before starting for the door. "I grew up a long time ago but there's still hope for her. That Alice wants to kill her and she'll succeed unless you do something about it" Oh no I almost forgot about that but this girl must have known more than she let on. "You're not (Y/n), are you?" It should have been clear to me though maybe I wanted to believe this was something more than what it was.

"I was once but that doesn't matter much now. Continue and put a stop to her. Keep that bitch away (Y/n) until the clock runs out. You owe her that much Doflamingo. Now go" I had no time to ask what she meant since the moment the girl left the room everything faded to black. "Where the hell am I supposed to go?" There wasn't an answer but instead of wasting time I started walking forward hopefully something would happen like previously. "I'll protect you (Y/n) I promise"

(Y/n)'s Pov

"Too bad I can't just shoot you Kiddo. It would be so much quicker but unfortunately, you need to die from a knife" Law was standing in front of me trying to keep me safe though I knew a bullet had hit him. "You can't have her!" He shouldn't have been this fearless when standing right in front of that gun but here Law was not moving an inch just to protect me. "You must really like pain Law. Move before I shoot you again" The easiest thing for him to do was move out of the way however he didn't. "I'm not leaving her to die"

"Suit yourself" The gun was slowly rising but still Law remained still until his head tilted back to stare into my eyes. "Runaway (Y/n)-ya" He couldn't be serious even if I were to leave him behind, I wasn't going to get far with my injuries. My eyes shifted away from his, I could see the gun and the way Doflamingo's finger was moments away from pulling the trigger. "No! Don't hurt him!" I hadn't done much but for whatever reason, this pink energy moved across the area causing Doflamingo to pause. "Wow! I didn't know you had haki (Y/n)-san. Did you see that, Lu?" I was glad they finally decided to show up.

"Quick take his gun away from him!" The man was still not moving but getting that weapon of his hand would benefit everyone here. It was Luffy who took it away although he probably shouldn't have been it either. "Give me that Lu" Okay with that taken care of I slowly got to my feet with some help from Law but wasn't sure what to do with myself. "Now what Law?"

"We take out the threat permanently" We're already been over this and it's not like Doflamingo could hurt anyone in his current confused state. "Law I know you hate him but he's still my brother. Put your knife away" Thankfully someone here had some commonsense and Corazon even put some weird cuffs on Doflamingo although they didn't have anything connecting them like regular handcuffs.
