"𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐥"
She was in a beautiful meadow. It was a somewhat cloudy day, but the sky was as blue as the ocean, birds were singing as the bees and butterflies were milling around the flowers. The wind blew into her caramel colored hair, topped with a yellow headband that kept it in place. Her yellow dress swayed as she twirled around the field of sunflowers to the harmonies of the birds. She smiled ever so brightly, her pearly whites shining as she giggled in pure joy and happiness. It was a perfect day.
Unexpectedly, her eyes caught a glimpse of another person, a charming man with stone grey colored hair and an endearing beauty mark under his right eye. He was wearing a beige sweater vest, the collared shirt underneath has its sleeves folded revealing a black watch on his right arm. His pants were cream in color, held up with a brown belt. In his hand was a daffodil flower. His honey filled eyes locked onto hers as he held his other hand out signaling for her to take it. She walked in his direction and she held her hands out to him as well. She stood in front of him, their hands hovering over each other, her fingertips almost came together with his. Nothing but a gentle breeze between their touch, yet that same breeze seemed to push them apart. He moved his hand to hers but they couldn't quite touch. The gentle breeze brought up a flurry of petals that intruded between them forcing her to close her eyes and when she opened them he was no longer there.
Instead she saw her ceiling. She had woken up, left with the lingering feeling of the petals against her skin. Rubbing her eyes and looking around her darkened room finding the only light source being the moon shining through her window. she checked the time on her mobile "4:42am...." she mumbled to herself as she gazed outside, "who....who was he?"
