hope's pov sunday, november 22nd
i groaned lowly as i woke up. i turned on my side, opening my eyes. i saw billie sitting on the ground as she pulled her shoes on.
"bubba?" i called out tiredly.
she looked up from tying her shoe. "yes, baby?"
"where are you going?"
"i've got to get home. i'm still grounded so it wouldn't be great if my parents woke up to see that i'm not there." she sighed as she stood up, walking over to my bed. she sat beside me, moving my hair out of my face. "go back to sleep, mama; it's five in the morning."
"okay," i pouted. "gimme a kiss first."
she smiled as she bent down, pressing a sweet kiss to my lips. "i think i'm getting ungrounded today though, so if i do, do you want to hangout later?"
"of course, baby." i smiled.
she pressed a kiss to my forehead before standing up. "i've got to go now, but i'll call you later, yeah?"
i nodded. "yeah. bye, bil."
"bye, babygirl."
she crawled out the window, shutting it once she was out of it. i pulled my blanket up to my chin, cuddling into it and quickly falling back asleep.

i groaned, blindly reaching out to grab my phone off of my nightstand. i didn't check who the caller was as i answered it, bringing it up to my ear. whoever was calling had been trying to call me for the last five or so minutes and it was getting annoying.
"hello?"
"oh my god, it's about damn time you answered." lexi complained.
"dude, i was asleep, give me a break," i complained, reaching a hand up to rub at my eyes. "what's so important that you couldn't wait until later to tell me?"
"asher asked me to be his girlfriend last night!" she exclaimed.
"oh my god, that's great!" i said genuinely. "tell me all about it."
"so, after the dance, we went to this really cute park. we got a blanket and laid down, and watched the stars for a while. then he started to tell me about how he really liked me, and how he loves when we hang out. then he asked me to be his girlfriend." she explained quickly, obviously excited about it.
