hope's pov monday, august 31st
"bitch, i swear to god if you don't wake the fuck up!" kaiden complained, smacking me with a pillow.
"dude, i'm up!" i whined. "i was just trying to take my nap, as i fucking do on mondays, and you come up in here, beating me with my own pillow! what the fuck, kaiden!" i griped at him. "who even let you in?"
"josh." he shrugged, ignoring the small rant i had went on.
"of course." i muttered. i looked past him, noticing that lexi was here too.
i sighed, rubbing at my eyes sleepily. "why are y'all here? what's so important that couldn't wait until tomorrow?"
"i need you to spill the fucking tea on who you was hanging out with in second and third block." kaiden told me matter of factly, lexi nodding in agreement.
"i was hanging out with billie."
their eyes widened and their mouths dropped. "you mean billie as in billie eilish? billie as in the girl who's fought almost everybody at school?" lexi asked.
i nodded. "that's the one."
"why the fuck is she hanging out with you?" kaiden questioned.
"bitch—"
"i'm just saying, you're like the total opposite of her. you're shy, smart, and actually give a shit about school, while she's outgoing, and doesn't seem to care about school at all. it doesn't add up that she's hanging out with you." he explained.
"honestly, i couldn't even tell you." i shrugged.
"well, do you like hanging out with her? like, is she cool or whatever?" lexi quizzed.
"yeah, i do," i smiled a little. "she's really chill to hangout with."
"i don't know, don't you think it's kinda sus?"
"shut up, kaiden, you're just mad that she'll be getting pussy and you won't." lexi teased.
"excuse me, i could have all the pussy i want." he flipped her off.
"then why don't you?"
"because i don't want these thirsty ass hoes." he shrugged.
"yeah, okay."
i laid my head in kaiden's lap. "since i spilt the fucking tea, i'm resuming my nap." i nuzzled my face into his stomach.
