hope's pov wednesday, december 16th
"stoppp!" i laughed.
me and billie had been in central park since about eight last night. it's now nearing one am.
i'm currently in billie's lap, trying to move away from her. she's trying to lick my cheek. again.
she wrapped her arms around me so that i couldn't move. she stuck her tongue out and touched it to my cheek, which made my face scrunched up.
"why have you been licking me?" i complained as i slipped one of my arms out of her grasp to playfully shove her.
"it's a love language." she stated with a grin and as if it was obvious.
"i don't think so." i rolled my eyes.
"it issssss." she dragged out.
"whatever." i laughed before kissing her cheek.
i then laid my head on her shoulder, cuddling up with her. these past couple of hours with her have been really great. we've both opened up a bit about a bunch of different things.
i told her about my past relationship. i had only ever told kaiden, lexi, and josh about it before her. i wouldn't have told anybody else, but she's just so easy to open up to. it's not something i even had to think about.
my shoulders raised a bit as billie blew air into my ear. i thumped her in the forehead in response, which made her laugh.
"you ready to go back to the apartment, mama?" she asked.
"yeah, let's go." i nodded.
we stood up and grabbed the blankets that we had brought out here.
i then grabbed billie's free hand and interlaced our fingers. i leaned my head on her arm as we walked back to the apartment, and i smiled as she leaned down to press a kiss to my head.
