"wake up, tiny."

"no, i don't wanna." i whined.

"yes, you do." she said as she laid on top of me and buried her face into my face.

"no, i don't."

"yes. c'mon, let's do something."

"like what?" i asked as i rubbed at my eyes.

"i don't know." she shrugged.

i thought for a moment before getting an idea. i quickly sat up, though it made billie fall to the ground.

"the fuck was that for?!"

"sorry, bub, i didn't mean to." i snickered as i got out of bed and stepped over her. i started walking to my closet. "i know what we can do today."

"which is?" she questioned as she walked over to me.

"i could teach you how to play soccer," i told her. "you mentioned it in that notebook that you gave me."

she stood behind me and wrapped her arms around me. she held me close to her as i picked through my clothes. "you wanna do that today?"

"why not?" i shrugged.

"alright, then sure," she murmured as she kissed my temple. "you should wear a lil' crop top."

"yeah?" i raised a brow.

"mhm." she hummed.

"just kick the ball." i blinked at her.

"but... how?" she blinked back at me.

"i knew you was dumb, but da—"

"hey! what the fuck?" she whined.

"i'm just saying... you're a lil' slow. that's okay though." i gave her a sweet smile.

"that's so rude, i—"

"i said that it was okay!" i defended.

"but you still called me slow!"

"because you are! but again, just a lil' bit!"

"you're so—" she stopped as she shook her head. "you get on my nerves sometimes."

"yeah, but you love me." i grinned.

"fuck yeah, i do." she grinned as well.

i looked at the ball again, then back up at her. "okay, so back to this... you kick it with the inside of your foot." i showed her how i would kick it.

"why can't you just kick it head on?" she questioned as she made a motion of it.

"'cause you would just end up hurting your toes," i explained. "so, kick it with the inside of your foot."

i gestured to the ball. "so, try it."

she kicked the ball like i had showed her, but it only rolled five to ten feet away. her face flushed slightly.

"i'm starting to think that soccer isn't for you." i sighed.

"definitely not." she agreed.

i watched as she stretched a bit. "how about i just leave all the sporty shit to you, yeah?"

"yeah." i snickered.

she walked back a bit before sitting down in the grass. she sat crisscrossed and watched as i just kicked the ball around.

"yo!" i heard someone shout.

i turned my head to see devon jogging over to me. i smiled. "hey, wassup?"

"'sup," he raised his hand in a wave. "what are you doing here?"

"well, i was trying to teach billie how to play soccer," i pointed over at billie, who waved at him. "but she sucks ass at it, so we gave up on it."

"ah," he chuckled. "well, i could play with you a bit?" he suggested.

"for real?" i raised a brow and he nodded. "alright, yeah. i'm down."

"okay, sick." he grinned.

about an hour later, and i'm worn out from playing. devvy is really good at soccer and it makes sense that he's the team captain of the soccer team.

"i should probably get home now." dev sighed as he used the bottom of his shirt to wipe at his face.

"alright. i'll see you later then, yeah?" i raised a brow.

"for sure." he agreed.

i said goodbye to him before walking over to billie. i practically collapsed on top of her, which made her laugh.

"you tired, mama?" she asked.

"very." i nodded my head.

she kissed my temple. "how about we go get you some food, yeah? i'm pretty hungry myself."

"oouu, hell yeah, let's go." i nodded again.

///

"holy fuck." i moaned.

"is that good, babygirl?"

"yeah," i nodded. "this is, like, the best burger i've ever had!"

"i'm glad you like it." she chuckled as she took a bite of some vegan shit that she had ordered.

"we should come here, like... every day. this shit is good as hell."

"yeah? well, i'd much rather eat you."

my eyes widened. "shut the hell up! you said that so loud!" my face flushed embarrassedly.

"and that's bad why?" she raised a brow.

"i— you seriously don't give a fuck what people think, do you?" i questioned.

"hell no." she scoffed.

she reached her hand across the table. i placed mine in it and she interlaced our fingers. "six months ago, i would've laughed in your face if you told me that had a girlfriend who i was in love with." she admitted as her thumb rubbed the back of my hand.

"i love you." i gave a soft smile.

"i love you too." she grinned.
