Andy's pov
I woke up in Robert's bed, even though I didn't remember falling asleep. The last thing I could remember was watching The Princess And The Frog on the couch with Robert and Gabby, so he must've carried me up here.
I glanced over at my phone and saw that it was two minutes until my alarm was going to go off. Reaching over, I silenced it so that it wouldn't wake Robert up just yet, seeing as he had another day off today.
I slipped out from under his arm and quietly changed back into my own clothes, seeing as Robert must've put one of his shirts on me to sleep in last night. Once I was changed, I went into his en-suite to fix my hair and wash my face. Then, I tiptoed out of the room and headed towards the kitchen.
As I was walking down the stairs, I heard the floor creaking behind me. "Drea?" Gabby whispered and I looked up to see her stood in her nightgown.
"Morning princess, do you want to come and get some breakfast with me? We could make your Daddy some and take it up to him too," I suggested.
"Yes please," she said, so I picked her up and carried her down to the kitchen.
"So, what do you want then?" I asked, putting her down on one of the kitchen stools.
"Hmm, can we make pancakes please?" Gabby asked.
"Of course," I said, and started getting out the ingredients. I measured them out and put them in a mixing bowl before handing Gabby a wooden spoon.
"Do you wanna mix it?" I asked and she grinned.
"Yeah! Thank you!" She said excitedly. I put the bowl on the table in front of her and watched as she mixed all of the ingredients together.
Soon, she had finished, so I cooked the pancakes, flipping them every so often to make Gabby laugh. Once they were ready, I put the pancakes onto three plates.
"What do you want on yours?" I asked.
"Can I have Nutella and strawberries please?" Gabby asked and I nodded. I decided to have the same, and that Robert would too seeing as he was still asleep and wasn't going to decide for himself. I spread Nutella onto all of the pancakes and then cut some strawberries to put on the top.
"Do you want to eat yours down here or upstairs?" I asked.
"Upstairs please," Gabby answered and I smiled at how polite she always is.
"Okay, I'll take mine and Daddy's plates, do you think you can carry yours?" I suggested.
"Yeah!" She said, grinning. I passed one of the plates to her and she started to head up the stairs. I followed close behind, making sure she was careful.
I pushed the door open with my hip and Gabby and I walked into the bedroom. We put all of the plates onto the bedside table, and then I put my finger to my lips, signalling for her to be quiet. Somehow, Robert was still asleep, so Gabby and I climbed onto the bed and started to shake him.
"Mmm, I'm trying to sleep," he muttered and we laughed.
"But me and Drea made pancakes," Gabby giggled, and I saw him start to open his eyes.
"Well in that case, I'm wide awake," Robert sat, sitting up. I passed him a plate of pancakes and he leant over to kiss me. "Thank you," he said.
"You're very welcome," I said, smirking at him.
The three of us sat and ate our breakfast and then I took the plates downstairs to wash them, even though Robert tried to stop me.
When I went back upstairs, I checked the time and realised that I had to get going. I'd texted Maya last night and she had agreed to pick me up from just down the street, seeing as my car was still at our apartment.
"I've got to go to work now," I said, walking into the bedroom.
"Aww but I want you to stay with me and Daddy," Gabby said, looking sad.
"I know, I wish I could too princess, but I have to work," I said as I gave her a hug.
"Do you wanna come over after work?" Robert asked.
"Sure, but I won't be able to sleep here, because I have an even earlier shift the next day," I told him.
"Okay, I'll see you later then," he said, kissing me.
"See you later," I said, before heading downstairs. I walked to where I was supposed to be meeting Maya, and it was only a few moments before she pulled up.
"So what did you do yesterday with your boyfriend," she said, smirking.
"Well, I went with Robert and Gabby to a water park and then we went back to their place and watched The Princess And The Frog," I told her.
"The Princess And The Frog? Not what I was expecting," Maya laughed.
"Gabby picked it," I said, laughing too.
After a few minutes, we got to the station and headed inside. After I had gotten changed into my uniform, I joined the rest of the team in the beanery. When I sat down without getting any food, Travis looked at me curiously.
"Okay what's wrong with Andy? You never skip breakfast," he said.
"I've already eaten," I said, waiting for the questions that I was sure were going to come.
"Ooo did that hot boyfriend of yours bring you breakfast in bed," Vic said, winking.
"Actually, me and Gabby took Robert breakfast in bed. We made pancakes," I told them.
"Okay so not the kind of breakfast in bed I was thinking of, but that's cute still," Vic said and we all laughed.
After a few minutes, the alarms went off for aid car, which was Vic and Travis. Vic was still eating, so I tagged in for her for this call, and headed off with Travis.
