She kept the hotel key

"ERIS!" Atlas yelled, "We're going to be-"
"You were saying something?" Eris interrupted her, walking out of the kitchen. Her dark hair was tied up with her wand, and she smiled at her happily while eating out of a bag of chips.
"You're actually ready?"
"Don't act so surprised, I'm always on time."
"That's a lie," Remus scoffed, bustling down the stairs, "you girls ready to go? Got your bats and brooms?"
"We do," Atlas smiled. The girls decided they'd be going out for beaters again, despite not making the team last year because they were too young. The two slytherin beaters had graduated last year, so the spots had opened up and Atlas and Eris planned on taking them.
"Right," Remus clapped his hands together, "I got my hands on a muggle vehicle a few days ago, something called an impala... how'd you like to take a ride to kings cross?"
"Do we have enough time for that?" Eris asked him, to which he smiled.
"Well, I'm a pretty fast driver."
"MOONY!" Eris yelled as she clung to the side of the car as Remus rocketed down a road.
He was smiling like a little kid, "not enjoying yourself, Eris?"
"YOUR GOING A MILLION KILOMETERS AN HOUR!" She yelled, wind blowing in her face from the car's lack on a roof.
"We've got to get there, don't we?" Atlas smiled, sitting up straight so the wind was smacking her in the face. She held her arms out, and closed her eyes as she took in the wind, feeling like she was on top of the world. Eris had to soften up at her friend, it always made her happy to see Atlas enjoying herself, even if Eris wasn't.
Eventually Remus slowed down as they rolled into Kings Cross, giving Atlas and Eris quick goodbyes before driving off, enjoying himself a bit too much as he blasted muggle music.
"You're telling me you didn't think you were going to die?" Eris asked Atlas as they watched Remus drive away.
"You did?"

The girls settled into compartment 103, the same one they'd ridden on all of their excursions to and from Hogwarts. They were happily discussing what classes they'd hoped they would have that year when they were interrupted by a short girl with curly, brown hair, "excuse me, have you seen a toad? A boy named Nevilles lost one."
"Sorry, we haven't" Atlas smiled sweetly at her.
"This your first year?" Eris asked, looking the girl up and down. She was pretty adorable, that was obvious. She was very composed when she talked, and although she seemed a bit stuck up, Eris thought she was nice, which was very unusual for her.
"Yes," she stated very matter-of-factually, "my name's Hermione Granger," she stuck out her hand, "you are?"
"Atlas Lupin," she shook her hand.
"Eris Black," Eris spoke calmly, shaking the girl's hand.
"What year are you in?" The girl, Hermione, asked them.
"We're 3rd years," Atlas replied, to which Hermione nodded.
"Slytherins," Eris added, to which the girl seemed to not be fazed, "that's not a problem, right?"
