"I'm going to bloody kill him," Eris mumbled, walking towards the great hall.
Atlas, who happened to see her with a scary look on her face, knew something was wrong, "who are you going to kill and why?"
"You're telling me you don't know?" Eris nearly yelled at her, a deadly look in her eyes.
"What am I supposed to know?" Atlas yelled back, trying to stop Eris. The girl was determined, not even Atlas could stop her from approaching the teachers table.
"I need to talk to you, Moony," Eris spoke directly to Remus, whose face began to go white.
"Everything alright?" He asked back, hoping she hadn't discovered what she thought she had.
"You know what it's about," she said, turning on her heels and marching out of the Great Hall.
"What happened?" Atlas asked Remus, who was beginning to follow her out of the dining area.
Remus didn't answer, until he caught up to Eris, who was standing with her arms crossed in the middle of the hallway.
"Eris, allow me to explain myself before you-" he began.
"Explain yourself?" Eris yelled, "You didn't think this was important enough to tell me, you waited until I heard it from some random Gryffindor. I think I had the right to know, Remus!"
Atlas stood as she watched the two, bewildered.
"I was going to tell you!" He argued, "I just couldn't find the right time!"
"The right time would have been exactly when you found out, I deserved to know more than anyone else! He's my father, for merlin's sake!"
"What happened to Sirius?" Atlas interjected.
Remus and Eris didn't answer, only stared at each other.
"You want to tell her, or should I?" Eris scoffed at him, "you're gonna have to say it eventually, might as well be right now."
"Sirius," Remus spoke quietly, unable to look Eris in the eye, "he escaped from Azkaban a few days ago. No one knows where he is or... Or if he's alive."
"Nice going, Remus," Eris scoffed as she walked to the slytherin common room, not bothering to look at either Lupin or go back for dinner.
"He what?" Atlas let out a shaky breath after standing in silence for a few moments.
"I've been meaning to tell you girls-"
"Tell me?" Atlas scoffed at him, "who cares about me? Dad, it's her father," with that, Atlas left Remus there, chasing after Eris who she knew would be a mess.
It's a known fact that Eris Black hated to cry, especially in front of people. She thought it made her weak, that if someone saw her emotions they would know she wasn't worth it. Some people thought she didn't even have emotions. The truth is, she had so many emotions it was overbearing.
Her life wasn't as easy as it seemed. She was a member of the house of Black, an insane pureblood family. But she didn't have to worry about dealing with it, because her father had been disowned by them the second he was sorted into Gryffindor. A father who she never met, because he was sent to Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit so she had virtually no memories with him.
