I'll keep you my dirty little secret,

Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret.

{~~~}

Atlas,

Glad to hear your summer went well, ours was a bit chaotic, as per usual. This letter will probably be a bit shorter than the rest since I'll be seeing you in a few days and I can just tell you everything then.

That prank sounded amazing, by the way. It's hard to pull off something like that without breaking the rules of using magic outside of school. Can't say I'm surprised you guys found a loophole. If anyone did, it would be you. I'm personally pretty glad you didn't get sent to Azkaban, I think that would be a bit counterproductive for our newly found friendship.

I told Charlie what you said about the dragons (how they're misunderstood) and he said he plans to steal you from me. Can you believe it? I get one friend that isn't Fred or Lee and suddenly my brother wants to take her away from me. It's mental.

I am a bit excited for the new school year, but you've got to tell me who the new DADA teacher is. How do you know, by the way? Seems silly if you ask me. As much as I like spending time at home, we aren't old enough to do magic there, so I can bear potions with Snape every once and a while if it means I get to use magic.

As far as my classes go, I was thinking about taking Care Of Magical Creatures, I always found it quite fascinating. Maybe they'll finally let Hagrid teach it, Ron told us he wanted to for the past few years but he hasn't gotten the opportunity. He seems fit for the job, I bet he knows more about all the creatures than anyone at Hogwarts.

I've got something else to tell you. Fred finally agreed to talk to you and Eris! Isn't that great? In fact, I convinced him to show you our most prized possession, something we stole from Filch first year. Can't say much else about it now, but you are going to lose your mind when you see it.

Anyways, I'd better start packing, see you soon

- George (AND CHARLIE)

Atlas chuckled lightly under her breath as she read the letter. She'd gotten it that morning, and she'd been so busy getting Eris out of the house that she hadn't gotten a chance to read it until she was on the train, Eris fast asleep across from her. Atlas folded up the letter and placed it back in the envelope.

Remus was on the train this year. He'd told them he'd be teaching at Hogwarts, and the girls were ecstatic. Every Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher they'd ever had was terrible, so they were excited that Remus had taken on the role. They'd asked him if he wanted to ride on the train with them, but he told them he "wanted to take his old compartment," or something, so they let it be.

Atlas laid back on the bench seat and looked out the window, enjoying the serenity that was the silence and summer fields. Of course, the peacefulness couldn't last for very long, as 2 people burst into the compartment.

"Atlas," George smiled at her, quickly wrapping her in a short hug. The twins had grown up since the last time she'd seen them, to say the least. They must have grown at least 4 inches, and their red hair was growing to their shoulders. They looked more mature as well, and they're voices had definitely changed.

If this is what happened to boys during puberty, Atlas didn't mind it very much.

"It's good to see you, George," Atlas smiled brightly at him, "how are you, Fred?"
