Bitch, be humble,

Sit down, be humble.

Eris tied up her long, black hair in a slick ponytail before she left her common room. She smoothed down her sweater, a sense of pride coming over her. Today was a saturday, so instead of their robes they matched in green and silver striped jumpers, with the slytherin crest on the chest. Yes, today was the first quidditch match of the season, and they were the slytherin beaters.

"Ready?" Atlas asked her as they sat down in the great hall for breakfast, their approach earning them a few cheers of encouragement from the slytherin table, as most members of their house were extremely competitive. Eris and Atlas pumped their fists in the air a few times in response.

"Of course I'm ready," Eris scoffed, "been waiting for this since we got sorted. How about you?"

"Well I'm not too excited to be playing on the same team as Flint," Atlas scoffed, looking towards the captain who sat at the end of the table, "bit of an arse if you ask me."

"Obviously he's an arse, but he did give us spots on the team."

"True," Atlas sighed, "still wish he didn't want us to play so dirty. I mean, we're hitting metal balls at the other team, what else can we do to play dirty?"

"Beats me," Eris shrugged, "get it, cause we're beaters?"

    "You're hilarious."

"Morning girls," Marcus spoke to them, flashing a toothy smile.

"Captain," Eris straitened her back and saluted him, Atlas laughing before doing the same.

"Very funny," he rolled his eyes, "you remember today's strategy?"

"Have you lost faith in us, Flint?" Atlas put her hands over her heart, "it's only November, thought we'd last longer."

"Sorry to disappoint," Eris giggled. He gave the two a look before they continued, "of course we remember the plan."

"Aim for Wood," Atlas nodded, and Marcus nodded back at her.

"Heard Potter's pretty good," He began, "the Weasley's are sporadic at best. The chasers aren't phenomenal, but they work well together. But if we take Wood out of the equation they're screwed, haven't got another keeper."

    "We know," Atlas smiled.

"Won't let you down, Captain," Eris mimicked another salute at him as he walked away.

"Normally smiling makes me happy, but he shouldn't do it so much," Atlas mumbled as he left, sending Eris into a fit of giggles.

Fred and George made their way to the great hall, each wearing a red and gold striped sweater, with a lion patch on the front.

"You nervous, Fred? You look nervous?" George nudged his brother.

"You do realize we're playing slytherin, right?" He spoke.

"We've played them before, I don't get what's so scary."

    "Think about it, you git."

"Ok... Your point is?"

"You do realize who's on the slytherin team, don't you?"

"Who, Flint?" George scoffed, "sure, he plays dirty but common, he probably can't see well through his giant teeth."
