My Little Angel(a Meggy story)

First day

Peggys PoV

I feel a pillow hit me right on the head I get up already aggravated.
"What the hell?" I asked I look up and see my older sister Angelica sanding in front of me dressed and ready...as usual.

"Get up you need to get ready for school I refuse to be late on our first day back." She stands there holding the pillow with her hand on her hip.
"So come on let's go."
"You know you wake up far earlier than you half to." I say half asleep.She's always up two hours earlier than me and Eliza for what? I have no idea.

I Get out of bed and go into the restroom and fix myself up and brush my teeth.I pick out an oversize yellow T-shirt with my blue jeans and my vans I put my hair half up half down with my yellow scrunchie.I've worn my yellow scrunchie since 6th grade and I haven't lost it once and im in 10th grade now it's a pretty proud accomplishment but it's basically what makes me memorable. I make my down to the living room and grab my bag to make sure everything in it,and sit on my phone waiting for my sister to be ready.

Later at school

I wait outside of the school waiting for my best friend to come considering we still have a good 30 minutes till school starts he should get here on time.

"There you are loser took you long enough." I say.
"I'm right on time you get here to early." He laughs.
"It's not my fault John my sister likes to be almost an hour early to everything." I laugh.We start walking to our first period class biology we both have it together thank god.

"Hey so are you going to Madisons party this weekend?" John ask me.
"I'm going to say there an eighty percent chance I won't Madison doesn't even know who I am why would I go to his party?" I say.
"I dunno it's his birthday plus free food I know your always up to that plus he not inviting any one specific it's an open party."
"Are you gonna go cause I think that's the real important question."
"Yea I'm gonna go with my boyfriend"
"I'll think about it." I say smirking we reach out class and take our seats next to each other and prepare for class with Mrs.Goldsberry.

Later during class

We were taking notes and I hear a pencil drop and roll next to me I go to pick it up and then turn around to return the pencil to whoever dropped it and it's an unfamiliar face she had dark curly hair with these beautiful brown eyes and she was wearing a tight red shirt I snap out of my gaze.
"Hey this is yours right?" I smile.
"Yea um thanks." She says relatively quiet. Since I'm a pretty social person or so I've been told after class I'm going to ask her if she wants to join John,Eliza, and everyone else at lunch.

After class

"Hey John give me a sec I'm going to ask someone if they want to join us at lunch if that's cool with you." I ask him I already know he'll say yes cause he amazing like that.
"Of course I'll be outside let me know what they say."
"Kk be right back." I make my way to the student.
"Hey if you don't mind do you want to sit with me and my friend at lunch today?" I ask nicely with a welcoming smile. She seemed hesitant at but she said yes I tell her I'll see her later and start making my way back to John.

"So whatd they say?" He asked
"She said yes she seems a little nervous but it's fine." I feel someone touch my shoulder and stop to see who it was.

"Hey I'm two thing one I never introduced myself I'm Maria Lewis and two I forgot that i was going to sit with my boy friend and are friends I'm sorry." She said.
"Aw well it's ok we can catch up some other times and I'm Margarita Schuyler but please for my sake please call me Peggy heh and this is my friend John Laurens."
"Thank you for understanding but I'm sure we can meet some other times." She semi laughed.
"See you around Maria bye."
"Bye Peggy." She smiled and walked off.
"Welp she seemed nice...and nervous." He laughed.
"You are so mean you were the exact same way." I play hit him.
"Do you know if she's new here or have I just not payed attention enough?" I say
"I think I've seen her around so I don't think she's new but I also can't confirm that well ask the gang see what they say."
"Oh well see you at lunch." I wave off and make my way to my next class P.E with Mr.Rua.

3rd period reading

I have reading with Eliza my second oldest sister and her boyfriend Alexander so you can imagine how embarrassing that is but thank goodness I sit in the back and they sit in the front. I couldn't stop thinking of Maria though I feel like I know her but not recently if that makes sense like I've seen her before I walk up to Eliza and Alex so I can ask them

"Ok y'all stop talking to each other for a few minutes and answer my question." I tell them making them look at me.
"Whattttttt?" Eliza whines.
"Yea what's up?" Alex ask.
"Have y'all heard of a Maria Lewis I can't put my finger on where I've seen her." I tell them
"Are you dumb?" Eliza jokes.
"Ok one rude and no I'm serious."
"She went to school with us in elementary then she moved schools and then came back during 8th you know she was here last year right?" Eliza tells me.
"My God I guess I must be ughhh how did that never hit me I mean sure she's of course grown since elementary but you'd think I would have been able to notice and plus you and her and this rivalry in 8th but y'all just dropped it how could I forget." I faced palmed myself though it does feel reliving to know where I knew her from.
"Yea and her boyfriends a total a-hole Hes gonna be future gas station attendant with his stupid mind." Alex says rolling his eyes.
"Who's her boyfriend?"
"James fucking Reynolds ugh I hate that guy." He says.
"Hm sounds like an ass I'll have to keep an eye out for him." I say
"Heh yea and he suppose to be in the next grade the dumb dude failed a yea ha!" He says it's funny how I just never knew about them or at least forgot about Maria and never knew Jane considering how much Eliza and Alex seem to hate them but oh well I'll have to see for myself. We waited into class and have a pretty basic first day class.
