Maria POV
I couldn't stop thinking about Peggys lunch invite because it would be nice to have a change of friends well minus one James Madison hes the only friend I have that actually cares about me James (Reynolds) and his best friends Tomas Jefferson,George Fredrick, and Samuel Seabury are just giant ass hats that use me and don't care and it can get really annoying when they're the only people your friends with...but oh well I had to say no James wouldn't be to happy with that and I'm not up to listening to him yell or me trying to defend myself. I feel someone hug be by my waist and I push myself off because I got scared. "What's you problem bitch!?" James says I got scared and immediately apologized and hugged him. "I'm so sorry I thought you were someone else and I didn't want anyone to try anything because we're together." I tell him I hate this act I put up but I'm not going to stop anytime soon I'm not scared... "That's what it better be." He says hugging me back but still mad. "I'm sorry my baby I shouldn't be mean." He says not very sincerely but whatever we hold hand and walk to lunch he so tall it scares me sometimes I'm only 5'0 he's 6'1 I think he towers over me most people would find that cute but I don't. We get our food and it at the table with the group I pick at my food and zone into my own thought when I remembered Peggy I started to look for her without making it obvious I saw her table and looked at who was there. There was Alex,Eliza,Angelica,John,Hercules,Laf something I can't remember,Some girl with short fluffy hair, And Peggy(pun not intended srry Pegs TvT) They seemed like they were having fun I focus my attention back to my table and try and catch myself up on what the boys are saying. "Hey Maria are you coming to my party this weekend?" Madison ask me with a pure smile. "I plan on it is it cool if we go James?" I ask him he looks at me and it's quiet for a moment I get nervous and know he's going to say no. "Hmph yea you can go however I'm not going to be able to go I have..I've got something to do so you better not be playing with anyone you got it?" He gives me a stern look psh something to do more like some one but oh well I get time away from James finally. "Of course thank you babe." I kiss him bleh. "Ok y'all nasty chill." Sam says he's just jealous because he can't find anyone who can stick around heh.
Peggys POV
I make my way to the lunch room and as we walk we get everyone together we all catch each other up and I bring my girl best friend Molly we've known each other since 6th she's had an amazing kid core aesthetic we all make are way and I was hoping maybe Maria would be able to join us for lunch but I doubt it we all take a seat and start talking about how Angelica might finally have a crush even though she won't admit it I doubt she does though. "I do not have a crush I'm not sure why you guys keep trying." Angelica says stoned faced. "Angelica everyone has a crush and so do youuuu." Lafayette says while bopping her nose she smacks his hand and stays the same ways she lets a deep sigh out. "Ok fine y'all want to know why my crush is?" She says I snap my head from looking to find Maria and focus at Angelica there's not way she can have a crush and just admit it this is awesome we all lean in. "My crush isssss.....Chris Hemsworth." SHe gives a dirty smile. "WHYYYY! Why do you do this to everyone." We all stand to complain of course she wouldn't admit it were all suckers. I look up and keep looking for Maria finally I spot her she was giving James a kiss I mean they seem ok I'm not sure.I was working on Chess club when Maria and Eliza had their fall out and Eliza forbid us to ask and after a while they just dropped it and forgot about each other but they still ignore each other so I still have no idea what it was on but I also don't really care. I go back to eating my lunch and scrolling my phone.
"Hey so are y'all going to Madison's party?" Lafayette ask. "No." Both my sisters say. "Hell yea." Hercules says "Reynolds Make be a jerk but Madison is cool so you know I'm there plus me and John are going together." Alex say kissing johns cheek. "I'll ask my dad if he says yes then I'm there if not the pfft nope." I say. "I bet dads going to say no." Angelica says. "Well unlike y'all dad trust me I'm sure he'll say yes." I say. "What are you taking about dad trust us?" Angelica says and rolls her eyes and Eliza agrees. "Ha! Please y'all lost dads trust when both of y'all snuck out to see your boyfriends and go to a party that's like the worst thing y'all could have done and you didn't even bother to invite me." I laugh at them. "I didn't invite you because you didn't have a boyfriend and you need a boyfriend to be at that party!" Angelica semi yells. "That is such a lie you wanna know how I know!" I yell loud enough to sound mad but not enough for a teacher to come "How?!" She yells. "Because my own friend was there and she didn't have a boyfriend you frikin lier and you know it!" "That heated quick." John whispers to Alex. "You forgot about me just how everyone would forget about me you forgot because you see me as a little girl who doesn't need to attend parties or do teenage things and I don't appreciate that and you know it!" I yell with my eyes watering. "Forget about it." I say and walk off.
No ones POV
"Welp um that was...tense." Alex says "John where are you going?" Eliza ask." "I'm going to check on Peggy duh." He walks off "What was that about exactly?" Lafayette ask Eliza sighs. "Peggys always feel forgotten we don't mean to leave her out do things but it happens and she feel very passionately about it but she never tells anyone so when you hit that nerve she goes off." Eliza say with guilt. "But we don't think of her as a child but she usually chooses to stay out of things so we usually don't ask and we feel bad but...we get distracted." Eliza says. "Ok wow you know that's not really how sisters should treat each other right?" Mulligan says. "I mean yea well kinda ugh it's not something you think about when your sibling after a while you just throw one another off because you think you know them." Angelica says. "Well I know I don't do that to my sibling and I have two younger siblings." Molly says. "Angelica and Eliza I really suggest you guys start working that out because that's not good at all not to y'all and definitely not to Peggy ok?" Alex says. "Well work on it." Eliza says with a half smile. "In the mean time dinner this afternoon is going to be super awkward." Angelica says. "Yea good luck with that I hope Peggys ok y'all better do something nice for her got it and don't force it either ok that's only going to make her feel worse." Lafayette says "Crazy how she's never mentioned this to us and all of us have been friend with her for at least two year or more." Molly says. "Like we said she holds it in...very well I'm amazed she actually said something out loud in front of y'all" Angelica say.
Marias POV
I was watching Peggys table and I could tell they were in an argument and it wasn't good I couldn't here but I saw Peggy get up and storm out and later her friend follow her even though I don't know her to well I want to make sure she's ok. "Hey James I need to go to the restroom I'll be back." I say and get up "Alright." He says not caring to much. I have no idea where shed be but lunch is over in ten minutes so I might want to speed this process up a bit,And I start my search.

Also molly is an oc she's short, has floofy short hair that everyone loves she basically looks like the picture below except she has freckles and she's pan she also has Tourette Syndrome I was debating on putting it in the book or because I don't want to misinterpret them but I do have a familiar background with tics (not Tourette's) and I've done my research so I will be including it in this book so I will be putting ⚠️Cw⚠️ just in case I did not show them during this chapter but I will later when she tics in her sentence I will put ' 'and if it's someone else mid sentence the I'll put ( ) I won't put down all her tics but enough for you to acknowledge she has them thank you for reading and if I ever ever mess it up or misinterpret it please let me know and inform me on how to fix it again I'm only semi experienced in this category:)))
