We all head upstairs so we can play ping pong we decided Maria would go against Lafayette then whoever wins stays then I'll go next then Hercules and then Alex. Alex doesn't really like ping pong because he sucks at it but we convinced him. We set up the game and go over the rules (I'm not to sure the rules so srryTvT) and Maria and Lafayette set themselves up. Laf hit the ping first and Maria immediately missed it we all started laughing because of how quick it happened.
"Haha funny give me a sec to warm up." She laughs as she got the ball. She hits it with her paddle and this time they go back an forward for a few until Maria missed again so fair it's 0 to 2 whoever gets up to 11 first wins.
"Hey what yalll up toooo." Some random drunk teen says.
"Fuck off." Most of us say without taking our eyes off the game.
"AYE!!!" We all cheer Maria got a point and you can tell she started to feel confident now.

After a while the game got really good a lot of people started to gather around and place bets Maria is a lot better than we thought we knew laf was good from last experience but we didn't know Maria could play. The score was 8/7 Maria was actually in the lead it was so tense I was of course routing for Maria the part basically joined us up stairs this was so much fun non of us are even going to want to play after this match it's literally been 30 minutes of good play this is incredible it's funny how interested we all arein this and god Maria looks pretty.

"Yes! Haha good luck Laf she's on your ass." I yell Maria scored another point a few more and she win plus she gets all this random money these people are betting everyone thinks she's going to win at this point even Jefferson and Madison are in on it. Maria focused on the ball and hit it to the corner Laf was on which threw him off because she's been hitting it to the opposite side of him the whole time so he immediately moved and almost missed the ball luckily he has long arms and was able to reach he hits the ball back and they go back and forwards trying to throw each other off. Laf played a syke and Maria missed the ball it was now 9/8 she didn't let that loose her confidence though she kept a smirk on her face while Laf was sweating. He hits the ball and she easily knocks it back once again back and forward.
"OOOOOOOOH!" I yell psssh totally not on purposes. Just as expected Laf missed the ball Maria needs one more point eeeee! She takes a deep breath and Laf gets ready she eyes the middle and once's again threw Laf off as instead of hitting it in the middle she hit it to the side Laf was on but he moved to the middle because we expected it to be there you can tell by his face once again he was able to hit it back barley but this time she played that move the whole time they went back and forward for about 4 minutes until finally we had a winner...

"YOU DID IT GURL YASSSS QUEEN!" I yell and go and gives her a hug the crowd goes fucking wild it was crazy I couldn't believe how amazing this was all of us gave Maria a giant hug and Laf came to congratulate her and they gave a friend hug to show no bad blood everyone had Maria a shit tone of money to the point Hurc and I had to help carry some of the money after a good 15 minutes of still cheering for Maria everyone goes back downstairs and continues to party. This was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be and I'm glad I came me and Maria sat on the kitchen table and started counting the money she got even though we should be doing this somewhere private oh well.
"550,551, and 552 holy shit." Maria says she starts laughing.
"So what you plan on doing with 552 dollars." I laugh.
"No idea I'll think about it later in the mean time let's go dance." She grabs my hand and we start dancing to Party Rock Anthem it's a must have we were dancing pretty grate I will say and Maria can definitely hit every move her little jumps are so cute heh. She walks over and grabs my hand and we hold our hands in the air and jump and sing at the top of our lungs.
"Hey I'm going to get something to drink you want anything?!" She shouts over the music.
"Nah in good!" I yell I watch as she leaves and goes into the kitchen I continue to dance and start dancing with Herc .my dude can't really dance but he can vibe so it makes up for it.
"You like her!" He says loud enough for only me to here.
"Shut up and let me dance." I say with my eyes close and a smile on my face.
