One more folktale

Part 2

The next morning

"Mom, I have decided to take a walk to the said village since I took a good break. By the way, what is the name of the village? Uh how can I not ask about the name after knowing the whole plot, cast, and theme!?"

So Kihyun decided to visit the village but he forgot to ask the name. Since he came to know about it then how could he forgot to ask the name is a kind of sorcery to him.

"Oh Kihyun_ah even we forgot to tell you the name. The name is Otgol Village (Otgol Village is the clan village of the Gyeongju Choi located east of Daegu, South Korea.) And it is a good idea Ki that you are going to there. You will be very happy and satisfied. I will give you the names and some numbers of the villagers who were/are our friends and neighbors, it will be easy for you to get familiar with the village and the people. But...Ki, there's a small village near Gyeongsan. It does not have a name but it exist so I request you to not roam around there. You remember dad told you that some chaos happened there but later everything got sorted out but still for your safety I am telling you this."

Mom explained Kihyun about the village and the nearby place and why he shouldn't visit that place

"Okay Mom I understood everything. By the way Mom.. umm aren't we from Seoul? This village is in Daegu right? How come you all lived there?"

Kihyun questioned since his family is from Seoul but how come they used to live in Daegu

"Kihyun_ah don't you remember what dad told you yesterday?"

Mom questioned Kihyun about the conversation they had yesterday with the dad together

"Umm!!!? Oh ! Oh ! Yes yes...I am really a fool. How can I forget that dad told me that he had to leave the village beacuse of his work"

Kihyun remembered his conversation with dad and boom

"By the way Kihyunie how is our sawi?"
(사위 {Sawi} is the term that can only be used to call a man by his parents in law)

"Huh?? Sawi?? Who are you talking about Mom??"

Kihyun got confused when mom asked about her Son-in-law but she was just joking about it since she know that his son and Shownu likes each other. When Shownu visited Kihyun's parents for few times, for Kihyun's Mom, it seems like they like each other a lot. Whenever Kihyun make something in the kitchen, Shownu would wrap his arms around Kihyun's shoulders and waist, sometimes to just play around and sometimes to protect him from the flames of the stove and whenever the oil jumps up from the pan. It seems so domestic to his mom that sometimes it reminds her how a day goes by in a life of husband and wife since his mom and dad used to do the same thing when they were young couples.

"Oh come on Kihyun_ah..I am talking about our Shownu..how come you not know about our sawi?"

Mom joked around

"Ohho Mom!! Don't say like that... He is our Hyung and our leader"

Kihyun spoke in whine

"And my son-in-law right?"

Mom asked

"Mom!!"

Kihyun whined

"By the way how is he and other members? How are they doing and what are they doing these days?"

Mom asked Kihyun about his teammates

"Shownu hyung went to military base since his enlistment was last month. Wonho hyung is working on his sub unit comeback with Hyungwonnie. Changkyunie is working on his solo comeback. Minhyukkie will soon gonna put up his art exhibition. Honey is always sulking at the corner since his favourite father, Shownu hyung has been gone but he is helping the members with their comeback and Minhyuk along with Kukkungie taking care of our sulky honey"

Kihyun tells mom about how and what members are doing these days

"Ohh our Honey.. he called me few days ago and said that both his mom and dad went away from the group. Then I asked about whom is he talking, about his real parents? Then he told me that he was talking about Shownu and you..he told me that he address Shownu as a dad and they both used to play a lot together and he calls you mom since you act like one and he misses your nagging and cooking"

Jooheon called Kihyun's Mom few days ago and asked about how Kihyun is doing. Then he told while whining about how the parents of Monsta X went away for a long time and he miss them a lot

"Oh Honey yaa...Why?"

Kihyun was shy and embarrassed

"Come on Hyunnie..come and help me in the kitchen, dad will be coming soon"

"Okay Mom!"
