One more folktale

Part 19

Next morning Shownu went out to the main market centre to get some groceries. It hasn't stopped snowing. While returning home he saw a traditional jewellery and clothing shop. He decides to take a look at it. There were so many beautiful traditional accessories and traditional clothes that are known as "Hanbok". His eyes got stuck at a splendid wooden couple bracelet. He then decided to buy one set for himself and Kihyun. After a while Kihyun called him.

Kihyun : "Hyung!! It's been two hours already, where are you? The market centre is not that far"

Shownu : "Oh I bought something for-"

He stopped in between because he wanted to surprise Kihyun.

Kihyun : "Hyung you there? You said you bought something and for whom??"

Shownu : "Yeah I bought something for Sarang. I bought men Hanbok family set for us. We'll have a photoshoot together at home with your camera."

Kihyun : "Omo hyung really!? Our Sarang will look so cute in it. I am so excited"

Shownu : "Ye! I will be home soon and make sure to turn on the heater once snowfall starts again. I think it will gonna start soon. I'll be home in ten minutes."

Kihyun : "Okay hyung. Take care and buy an umbrella too. It might help you on your way back"

Shownu : "Okay"

After giving a good excuse to Kihyun for hiding the surprise, he bought the Hanbok set and went back towards home.

*Knock knock*

"Ye! Wait...Hyung it's so cold. Come in fast let me bring you a towel and heat packs. Sit in font of heater first"

Kihyun brings the towel and gave some heat packs to Shownu. He then went back to the kitchen to make hot tea to get relieve from cold.

"Here hyung! Have some tea quickly to warm up yourself"

They drank the tea together while Sarang clings on Kihyun's shoulders and plays with a tiny toy.

"I bought some sweet potatoes. Will you roast them? We'll have it after dinner. And yeah...here...the Hanbok set"

He handed him a shopper which has the Hanboks in it.

"Sure Hyung..I will roast them at night. Oh omg these Hanboks are so pretty hyung. Omo...Sarang look, your appa bought you such a beautiful dress."

Shownu beamed and got shy after Kihyun addressed Shownu as a father to Sarang. It was first time he said something like this. Sarang took the little Hanbok for him in his hand and put it on his face.

"Hahahaha Sarang...this is not how you wear it my baby. Come I will dress you up"

Kihyun laughed at Sarang's silly cuteness and made him wore the Hanbok.

"Aigoo! Our Sarang is looking so cute in this dress. Hyung look at him"

Kihyun's gestures seems like a mother's fondness for her child.

"Kihyun_ah let's both of us wear it too and then we'll take pictures. How about it?"

Shownu wanted a family picture in the traditional dress so he asked Kihyun to bring his camera after dressing up.

"Aihh! You look beautiful Kihyun_ah"

Kihyun turned red after getting compliment from Shownu

"Akkh! You too hyung. You are as handsome as always."

Kihyun compliments Shownu too and he got shy again

"Sarang look at camera. Look there. Aihh! Where are you looking at? Okay how about this...Sarang ...look there, look at appa."

He quickly looked at Shownu and smiled.

"Hyung come here and hold him. Now I will take both of your picture"

He did as Kihyun said. Later they took a family picture. It was already dawn by then and Kihyun went to the kitchen to prepare for the dinner. They ate kimchi stew with steamed rice and chicken soup. He fed Sarang as well and after finishing with everything he roasted some sweet potatoes. He mashed a little sweet potato for Sarang.

"Hyung here have it!"

Shownu took a bite expressively.

"Wah! Delicious"

Kihyun checked the warmth before feeding Sarang then he fed him too.
On the other hand Shownu fed Kihyun by his hands. After sometime, Sarang dozed off to sleep.

"Hyung he slept already! It's so cold. And you must be tired as well. Lets go to sleep."

Shownu caressed Kihyun's hair and then face

"You are too worrisome about me Kihyun_ah, don't worry hyung is strong"

Shownu then embraced Kihyun in his arms

"It is natural hyung to worry about the people we love"

"Ye! By the way Kihyun_ah, could you please close your eyes for a moment?"

Kihyun got confused but obeyed

"What is it Hyung?"

He took out the couple bracelet box

"Now open"

Kihyun opened his eyes and looked at the bracelets with genuine happiness

"Omo hyung. They are so pretty. Now I get why you stopped in between while talking on the phone. I had already sensed that you have a secret. You are so cute hyung"

"Kihyun_ah give me your hand"

He made him wear the bracelet by his own hands and as well as Kihyun tied the bracelet on Shownu's hand by himself.
After a moment, Shownu pecked his forehead, then his cheeks and then his lips simultaneously. He then snuggle into Kihyun's neck and hugged him for few minutes. Later they went off to sleep as well.
