One more folktale

Part 10

Kihyun was inside the house with the baby and Shownu went outside of the house because one of his mutual in military base called him on his phone to ask about the further training procedure. While he was on his phone, he heard some strangers talking to Kihyun's neighbors.

"Are you sure that you haven't received any news about the missing child of the neighborhood village?"

The strangers were the villagers of neighborhood from where the baby has been rescued and where his parents were burnt alive. They ask Minhoon about the baby because when they came to recheck and swipe away the evidences, they could only find the body's of the parents that almost turned into ashes but not the baby. They were shocked and sured in themselves that the infant has been rescued by someone. They first inquired their own villagers but no clue about him was found over there. Then they started the interrogation in their neighbouring village that is the Otgol Village. Those people were the men of the head of the village.

"Absolutely not. You all can come in and search about it if the case is that fragile about the baby!"

Minhoon said

"I think we should leave for now. We'll come back later withing 3 days to recheck."

The stranger responds

"Sure!"

They finished interrogating Minhoon and suddenly one of the men spoke

"Sir look! One house is left. We used to visit this village often but haven't seen somebody living over there. Let's ask the guy who is talking on the phone"

They went towards Kihyun's house and starts to question Shownu about certain things

"Hi! We are from your neighborhood village. We would like to inquire about a missing baby. Have you seen any new face infant around your area with someone? By the way you seems new. Who else live with you? Actually we often used to visit this place but you are a new face to us."

They ask him about the concerns that were jumping into their brains. While listening to all this, Shownu spoke

"Actually, yes I am a new person over here and my friend and I shifted over here together for few months. After that we'll be gone because we have other works out of this place as well. And I am sorry, I haven't seen anybody about whom you are talking about"

The man spoke again

"Is that so? Then, could you please call your friend so that we can ask him about the same issue? And it would be better if we could know each other because we'll often get to meet anytime."

Shownu got concerned for Kihyun after listening to the man

"I have told you right that we have shifted together then how come he knows about the concerned issue? By the way, he is not well right now so he is taking some rest. He just had his medicines. I hope he gets well soon so that when you'll going to come back, you'll got to know more about us."

As Shownu responds, Kihyun came out of the house to check the matter when he saw that some men were present in front of Shownu

"Hyung! What happened? What is going on?"

As those people saw Kihyun, they starts to ask things to both

"Oh hi! How are you feeling now? Your friend told us that you are not feeling well and had medications and went to take some rest. I hope you are feeling fine by now?"

Kihyun didn't understand anything the stranger said and gazed at Shownu to know about the matter. Shownu then blinked his eyes to ensure that everything is under control right now and Kihyun just got to play along with him for a while. Kihyun without understanding the situation spoke in favour of Shownu

"Ah yes! Hyung is right. I was not feeling well. I just came out to take some fresh air but then saw hyung talking with you guys. By the way who are you all?"

As he asked, one of the men responds to his question

"Ask your friend later. We'll be leaving for now. But for sure we'll gonna come back so that we could get to know each other better as your friend told. See you guys soon!"

They finally left from there and Shownu went inside with Kihyun. The first thing he asked is about the baby.

"Kihyun_ah, where is the baby?"

Kihyun got confused and responds

"He is sleeping hyung. Why? What happened? You seems concerned about something"

Shownu then told everything to Kihyun and then he explain about what to do henceforth about the situation

"Kihyun_ah, I am pretty sure that they'll going to come back soon. You told me about Minhoon right? Ask for his help as soon as possible. I think he is a responsible person. But only if you trust him then only speak to him about this matter."

Kihyun listened to every single word of Shownu carefully and replies

"Don't worry hyung. I will make sure to protect the baby as my...umm our own child"

After hearing Kihyun's response, Shownu cupped his face and said

"I don't want you to get in trouble at any cost, neither this baby now. After my parents, Monsta X has became my family and about you, Kihyun_ah, you have became my life ever since we were together and my life is my responsibility. You are like the beats to my heart. You are a song of love to my ears which I want to play, listen and sing along at the world's end till this world ends. I don't want a single tear on your's and this baby's face at all and make sure to not have one. We will soon going to live as a real family like married couples not just as a lover or beloved."

Kihyun got emotional after hearing all those things. Shownu, then embraces Kihyun in his arms and then caress his head and then his back. After few minutes, the baby woke up. Shownu saw the baby woken up, yawning cutely and then he took him in his arms and kisses his forehead. He got the feelings of being a father since the day Monsta X has been made. He was like a father figure to the group and even to the fandom. After that, he turns towards Kihyun and kissed his forehead. Both Kihyun and the baby feels the moment of joy, happiness and togetherness while being embraced by Shownu. The unspoken words of the infant, showed in his smile and his sparky eyes which tells that his parents are alive in both Kihyun and Shownu.
