One more folktale

Part 16

It was six in the morning and Shownu's alarm started singing the opera which made Kihyun and Sarang startled from their sleep and even made Sarang cried.

"Aash...Hyung!!"

Kihyun gestures towards Shownu to turn off the alarm

"Aa I am sorry...I usually wake up around this time during my schedule in the camp. I forgot to put it off. Oh Sarangkiee-"

Kihyun took Sarang in his arms and pacifying him to stop crying and after few minutes, he (Sarang) dozed off to sleep.

"Hyungggg ..he was almost awake. Thank God he went back to sleep otherwise it would be very hard to deal with his awaking activities hehe. Umm I don't want to go back to sleep now...it is all broke. Shall I make you some breakfast?"

Kihyun didn't want to go back to sleep again since he is now fully awake and conscious. He asked Shownu if he want to have something at this moments since they are already awake.

"Umm I am not hungry unless you make something and my stomach starts to growl by its smell. But hmm don't worry, let's just have some conversation"

Shownu denied for the breakfast idea and just wanted to spent some time with Kihyun and to share some talks. They went towards the hall and sat near the same area where they usually spent their quality time.

"Kihyun_ah do you remember our early days..like umm...during our no mercy and even after debut...umm you were like....so much hesitant to even talk to me...!? But why ...I mean was I that less expressive or impressive or was I really a Showminator as people say?"

Shownu got a sudden urge to question Kihyun about their past

"Hyung...people don't know you...you are not a Showminator or any robot. You are really impressive as well as expressive. It is just that during those times, I was a fool... I admit that I didn't gave you much attention because I was not really familiar with you except for Minhyuk, Hyungwon, Wonho hyung and somewhat Jooheon as well. And later me and Changkyunie also became familiar. But with you, I have always felt awkward because we didn't talk much back then before. But now the things are different. I can't even bare with a thought of you getting away from my sight for even a second"

Kihyun explained Shownu the reason why he had always felt awkward with him during their debut days and even after that for some time.

"Is that so?? Umm...but still most of the time, you didn't pay attention to me even after everything got sorted out between us and when we confessed each other. But nevermind that was past...I understand that you are still a coy in front of me. And Hyungwon sent me a video of your crying like the oceans storms when I left for my enlistment"

Shownu responds

"What??? Chae Hyungwon has a death wish! Hyung delete that...that is so embarrassing"

Kihyun whined

"I will never delete that. This will remind me about how much you love me."

Shownu replied

"Hyungggg... pleaseeee"

Kihyun begged

"But first tell me why you cried that much? I've never seen you crying like this before...you were like stubbornly crying"

Shownu asked again

"Isn't it obvious?"

During their early days after their debut as Shownu told that Kihyun didn't gave him much attention and there were not much interactions even on screen as well, because they had always felt awkward with each other, especially Kihyun. He used to give less response to him. He was confuzzled with his feelings towards Shownu. And gradually he opened up to him and things became better. Even for some time after that, he didn't bother to pay attention to Shownu. Shownu has been always obvious towards Kihyun but since he respects Kihyun, he never cross the boundaries. He never seems to force Kihyun to do this or that. Sometimes back then he felt like it was an unrequited love. During one of their Monsta X Ray where they have to choose their Ang Mate, they were given different tasks where Shownu, Kihyun and Minhyuk paired up as a team and went for roller skating. Kihyun really payed less attention on him and it was Minhyuk who taught Shownu to how to roller skate. They were given another task where all the members have to make lunch boxes and to share with their teammates or partner. Kihyun rejected Shownu again but when Kihyun was making the lunch box, Shownu hoped that it was him for whom he is making. Later Minhyuk, Shownu and Kihyun decided to have it together. Then later there came the time of conclusion, where they have to confess about their mates. Shownu confessed that he has been hurt by his team member and then he asked several more questions to Kihyun. Then they chose each other as their Ang Mate. Kihyun then gave all his attention and love to Shownu after all that has happened. He gets jealous and disturbed whenever Shownu is not present in front of his eyes. He hates to let him go away from him even for a mild second. And whenever they used to play games and has to make teams, he always choose no one but Shownu as his first choice. When Shownu was leaving for his enlistment, he hugged him all night and slept in the same position. When he left, he cried for 1 whole week.

"Let's make some breakfast together hyung okay?"
