One more folktale

Part 9

"Kihyun_ah there's still one more day left. Let's wander around the village. Shall we?"

Shownu reminds Kihyun that there's still one more day left and then he'll be back to the camp. So by the time he thought that they should roam around the whole village and discover unseen places over there.

"Yes, sure Hyung...I am ready. Let's go!"

Kihyun agreed

They went out and wander at many unseen places of the village. They visited the hills and forestry area of the place.

"Hyung..the views from here, is so beautiful. *Too beautiful to handle🎶*"

Kihyun spoke as he appreciates the view from the top

"I agree"

Shownu responds

"Oh... Hyung?? What is that place? Shall we look for that?"

As they passed the hills, Kihyun saw an unknown place since they already visited other places, this is the only place which they haven't seen.

"Oh even I don't know about it Kihyun_ah. Let's go I guess -"

They steps forward for the place. That place seems like a whole another village. Thankfully, the people weren't there but they doesn't know the reason behind it. After few meters, they saw a cottage burning. They wondered what could've possibly happened there.

"Hyung..look. That house is burning"

Kihyun pointed at the house

"Let's go and check"

Shownu would like to inspect about the place

"Hyung I don't think so we should go ther-"

But Shownu just took Kihyun away with him and started searching about the issue. They heard a voice of an infant crying while being trapped between the flames.

"Oh my God hyung...the baby is-"

Shownu quickly took off his jacked and jumped in between the flames and rescued the baby out of there.
After few minutes they heard some voices that were shouting about killing someone. They recites "That child of the burdens is still there inside", "Don't worry, he might've turned into ashes now", "are you sure?", "Most probably", "Yea, just like his parents haha.. those brats doesn't deserve to live at all. If anybody wants to live here, then pay for the same otherwise be ready to risk your lives", "Absolutely".
As they heard all those words, they hid themselves at the part of the house which was safe and untouched by the flames. Shownu peeked outside to check if they're gone already and thankfully they weren't there. They finally escaped the place with the baby and arrived at Kihyun's home. After few moments, Kihyun reminds himself about what his mom told that there's an unknown village which is not really a safe one and boom yes, that was the village his mom told about and the one they visited.

"Hyung..I think we went to some wrong place. My mom told me about and unknown neighboring village which is not safe. But what could've possibly happened there and why they did all that? What is the fault of the baby?"

Kihyun said

"Kihyun_ah I think we've heard enough why they did all this. This is really bad. They killed the innocents. They didn't even let the baby lived but thankfully we rescued him."

Shownu responds

"Yes Hyung but now I think nobody is left for this baby. They killed his parents already. What should we do about him?"

Kihyun is worried for the baby

"I think for now, we should keep him. After I'll be gone, keep him with you and protect him at all costs because if they ever came to know that the baby is missing, they'll gonna search about him. And they might visit this place as well. And for now, don't tell about the baby to anyone. Not even the villagers except for the ones you actually trust Kihyun_ah okay?"

Shownu explained

"Okay Hyung. I understood everything. Don't worry."

Kihyun obeyed

"Keep him like your own son"

Shownu spoke

"Like ours?"

Kihyun proclaimed

"You can say that and yes"

Shownu assured him.

Finally they baby has been rescued and Showki fed the baby with the things that were available at the house currently like milk and biscuits. Shownu went out to the small market centre and bought the necessary things for the house and the baby. He went back to home and played with the baby along with Kihyun. It feels like that he was their own son and that's when they felt like a family.
