Jongin

"Well, at least he seemed cool about it, right? He didn't like threaten to kick you out of the group or anything like that, so that's good," Chanyeol said.

"Yeah," I said as I nodded a little. "That's why I don't know if I should tell Kyungsoo or not. If we just have to be more careful, I don't see any reason to worry him with this, you know?"

"He just said to try and keep your relationship on the low, right?" he asked, only earning a silent nod from me. "Then why not tell him? I mean, it's not that big of a deal."

"Yeah, but still," I said. "He's fine when he has nothing to worry about, but when he does he just gets paranoid and...I just don't want him to feel anymore stressed than he has to."

"Dude, we're famous," he said, looking at me with one of those seriously expressions. "Stress lives on us. Without people like us in this world, stress would be homeless."

I laughed a little at him before starting to reply. "I don't know," I said, looking down as I started to play with my fingers. "I guess I'll think about it. I just have to find some way to tell him without him freaking out."

"That shouldn't be too hard," he said. "I mean, I still don't know him as well as you do, but he seems like the type to not be like that."

"You'd be surprised," I said, eyes slightly widened.

I wasn't so much worried about the news itself because it wasn't that bad. I mean, he essentially told me he knew about us but that he was cool with it...as long as it didn't leave the walls of the company building, that is. Our relationship could continue on as it was as long as no one in the media found about it, which had been what I was trying to avoid in the first place. Taking into consideration all of the other possible things he could have said or done, I guess that was a fair deal: keep it under wraps and nothing bad will happen.

Now my only issue was figuring out how to tell Kyungsoo.

It wasn't like he didn't know we had to keep our relationship a secret already, but I had a feeling if he knew the CEO himself had to remind me, he'd become a whole lot more paranoid about it. Plus, I was smart enough to know that a warning wouldn't hold them over for long. The industry was small and once the media got ahold of this information, the company would be making bargains with them to keep it hidden away--bargains I feared would only further put pressure on our relationship. Things were okay between us now and I didn't want them to change, at least not right away.

Kyungsoo

One evening after our schedules for the day were over, everyone was just kind of sitting around the dorm, doing whatever it was they were doing. Jongin and I had been watching television for about an hour when I looked at the time on my phone.

"Ugh," I said with a loud groan. "I should probably feed the children now."

"Yeah," he said as he let out a laugh. "We wouldn't want to starve them, now would we?"

"That doesn't sound like such a bad idea now that I think about it," I said, getting another laugh from him.

"Do you want any help?" he asked. "I may not be as good of a cook as you, but I'm sure I can like...I don't know...cut something."

I laughed at him, throwing my head back so it was almost laying on the back of the couch. "That's sweet of you, but you don't have to," I said, still laughing a little.

"Are you sure?" he asked, pulling me closer to him with one of his arms.

"Yeah, I'm sure," I said.

"Okay," he said with a light sigh. "Just call me if you need any help, though."

"I will," I said before giving him a fleeting kiss on the lips.

Then, I removed myself from the couch and walked towards the kitchen to get started cooking. After dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen and then went straight to the shower since I hadn't showered all day. Once that was done, Jongin did the same and then we both got ready for bed.

"Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you," I said as the thought hit me, "did you get back to the dorm safely yesterday after practice? I was gonna wait for you, but you didn't show up for a while, so I just went ahead."

He just kind of turned around and looked at me for a second before answering, almost as if he was afraid to answer me. "Yeah," he said, seeming somewhat anxious. "I did. Why?"

"No reason," I shrugged. "I just wanted to make sure no one like snatched you away or anything."

He chuckled partially and then came over to lay down next to me in bed. "I'm not that easy to catch," he said with a faint grin decorated on his lips. "I'm a pretty fast runner."

I laughed and then we settled down in bed more and he reached over to turn the lamp off before laying down completely. I leaned over and pressed a goodnight kiss on his lips, and he returned it instantly.

"Goodnight," I said, putting a smile on my face despite the growing feeling of worry that was pooling around in my stomach.

"Goodnight," he replied with a yawn, adjusting the covers over his body. "Love you."

"Love you, too," I said. I had to change positions a few times before I finally was able to settle down.

There was something off about him, I could just tell. But what was it? What wasn't he telling me?
