"okay, what do you guys think of this riff?" luke asks, strumming a short guitar line. the other two nodded quickly, grinning at him.

"sweet, i'm feeling that. and then i come in with a little-" reggie adds a bass line, as sydney continues the rhythm guitar part she had been playing.

"and then julie comes in with her killer lyrics!" luke adds excitedly.

"and sunset curve is reborn." sydney says with a smile, looking to the other boys.

sydney becoming a part of the band barely felt like a change to any of them. she was already with them all the time anyways, even before they'd died.

"guys!" julie's voice draws the ghosts attention to the door way where she was now stood. "you aren't supposed to be out here playing alone." she reminds them.

"but we're not alone." reggie objects. "because we always have each other." he says as luke wraps an arm around him and sydney, the three smiling widely at julie.

julie rolls her eyes and walks further into the studio, unplugging reggie's bass from the amp.

"but we had the volume level on one!" luke tells her quickly.

"but we rocked it on volume ten!" reggie adds, making the siblings turn to him in slight annoyance. "you want us to play it again?" he asks, and julie rips luke and sydney's guitar chords from the other amp, staring at the ghosts with a blank expression.

"i really don't think she does." sydney informs him and reggie nods slightly.

"we've actually been waiting for you to get home!" luke turns back to julie, bouncing slightly with excitement. "okay, so we have some pretty major news to tell you. we had a band meeting earlier and.." he points to reggie and sydney beside him, who begin drum rolls on their laps. "we want to invite you to join sunset curve!" he says, grinning giddily. "and no, you're not dreaming." he adds.

"oh," julie says softly after a moment of silence.

"oh. oh, she said oh." luke whispers to the other two. "uh, that's what you say when you get socks on your birthday, not when you're invited to join the most epic band ever!" he explains quickly and julie sighs.

"sorry! i'm honoured. but i can't think about anything but flynn right now." julie says. "she's still mad at me for lying, she hasn't even texted me back!" she exclaims, a frustrated and slightly sad look on her face.

"yeah, you're in a tough spot." sydney nods sympathetically.

"so you wanna join the band?" luke asks quickly, making sydney slap him on the arm as julie rolls her eyes.

"read the room, dude." julie tells him sharply, walking past the ghost towards the studio doors.

"oh come on!" luke spins to look at her. "we need you and you need us because you need music!" he speaks quickly as julie hesitantly turned back to them. "we found this poem that you wrote and and we added this really cool melody to it. it sounds awesome-"

"where did you find that?" julie asks quickly, making the boys eyes go wide.

"it was all them, not me." sydney points to the boys, stepping away from them quickly as they looked at her in annoyance.

"it's definitely not from your dream box." luke says, avoiding julie's eyes as he pulled sydney to stand in front of him. she quickly grabbed reggie's sleeve and pulled him in front of her.

"you went through my stuff?" she demands, stomping towards luke. reggie and sydney quickly jumped out of her way, making luke back up further into the studio.
