Cielo's POV

I walk into the house we were staying in, as Cygnus keeps pacing around. It's getting fucking irritating.

A heartbroken Nova just left after she tried to find out if we knew anything about Gaia's disappearance. Of course we didn't say where she is or what really happened, we couldn't just take that risk, even though Cygnus wanted to.

I walk over to Cygnus, "Cygnus, calm down, please. We'll get her back."

He sits down on the bed and runs a hand through his hair. "What if we don't." He says his voice breaking. "We could be too late."

"Stop it Cyg! I don't get why you care about a human-girl so much." I yell at him frustrated. We use to hate humans.

Cygnus looks up at me with a broken expression.

"She's your mate isn't she," I state as the realization falls to me. I take a deep sigh and run a hand through my curly hair. "Shit."

Coincidentally I found my human-mate a few weeks back too. Of course I haven't confronted her. I thought we could just leave them in peace.

"I can feel her slowly weaken." He breathes out in nothing above a whisper.

"She will be just fine." I assure him.

"Okay, we'll try to come up with a plan." He tells me standing up and smiles to himself. "Let's go get my Gaia back."

"Why did you call me ass! I'm really not in the mood for your shit so cut to it. " Nova yells at me, with bags under her eyes, bloodshot red.

"We need your help. It's really important. " I say taking a quick glance at the impatient Cyg on the couch.

"With what?" She sighs. "If it's not about Gaia I am not helping."

"How do I get to this place. " I give her the paper with the location of the government-lab I found Cygnus and Gaia last time.

You might be thinking, "If you were there before, how can you not remember where it is now?".

Well, let me explain. Aliens can feel a pull towards each other when the other is in danger and the better your relationship or friendship the stronger the pull. That's how I came from our planet to save Cygnus's ass, in that lab.

"You have got to be kidding me. Directions to some place is important?! You know I had this suspicion you and that guy had something to do with Gaia's disappearance. You were acting weird and definitely hiding something. Gaia always tried to avoid you. An to top it all of, I had a weird attraction to you for some crazy reason!" She yells at me. She doesn't seem to notice what she just admitted.

"And-" I cut her off smashing my lips to hers. At first she was stiff against my body and in my arms, but when the amazing sparks run through my body to hers, she relaxes and kisses me back.

After all she is my mate.

She pulls away suddenly, "What the hell was that?!" She smacks my chest angrily.

I smirk at her, "Oh I know how much you just enjoyed that."

"Shut up." She mumbles cutely. She's gonna be a hard one to leave behind when we go back. I felt a jab in my chest at the thought.

I look over at a very unimpressed Cygnus, I'll explain it to him later.

"I'll tell you how to get there okay and then I'll leave. " She states.

After she showed us the way on this thing they call a map, we walk to leave.

"Wait!" Nova calls. "Does this have anything to do with Gaia?" She asks suspiciously.

I don't look back at her and keep walking. Cygnus was already outside, waiting impatiently.

"Hey! You are not leaving till you answer that question!" She spins me around to face her.

I stare at her beautiful hazel eyes for the last time. Oh gosh. How am I gonna be able to leave here without her?

"I'm sorry." I whisper as I push her deeper into the house and lock the door.

"HEY! Stop it! LET ME OUT! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" She yells as she bangs on the door.

I take a deep breath and force myself away from the door to Cygnus.

BOOOM!

The third bomb goes off in the third selected area of the lab.

Yeah! I just blew that shit. Cygnus runs out of the ship and runs towards the entrance with a small smile going to save her.

I wait a while for him to return.

After 20 min I get a little uneasy. Maybe I should go check. They could be in danger. I run out of the hidden ship and run toward the entrance. A small smirk of success on my face as I see no humans around.

I run into multiple rooms searching for either Cygnus or Gaia. I finally run into a room and see a figure on the ground bending down.

Cygnus.

He was sobbing out over something.

There he was, hugging the lifeless body of his mate, Gaia.

Wait there was something else....

I could hear a fourth heartbeat in the room.

Gaia was pregnant.
