RUSSIAN SPIES

I soon as I got in Ms.Henderson's car, I attempted to lean my head back, but it hurt like hell. I had a horrible headache and I had no memory of me falling, yet I remember shopping in Starcourt and fighting with Mike. I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore, so I started drifting off to sleep, dropping, the ice-pack next to me.

I woke up from my nap right before we arrived and looked like the mall was closing. There were only a few cars and a few people walking out of the mall. "thank you so much, Ms.Henderson, I can walk back home, it isn't far from here." I said getting nope attempting to get out of her car. "no problem, sweetie, have fun." she said then she started driving off. She parked close enough to the entrance so I could walk inside. There were almost no stores open yet they still let me in. I decided to go to Scoops Ahoy since I had nowhere else to go to. Scoops Ahoy was open and I heard people chanting a weird poem.

"The week is long. the silver cat feeds. when blue meets yellow in the west.

I heard Dustin's lisp, and I realized he was inside as well as Steve's voice. "Dustin?" I said walking inside.

"y/n? is that you?" he said. "yes, I'm back!" As attempted to walk up to him still limping, and hugged him tightly. "I missed you so much Dustin," I said. "I missed you too, y/n," he said. "wait why are you limping?" "well it's a long story but I fell off my bike and your mom helped me clean up."

"oh that's cool," he said excitedly because his mom was involved. "so uh, what are you guys doing?" I asked.

"Should we tell her?" Steve said.

"I guess"

Dustin hesitated but he said, " I heard a Russian spy code and now we are trying to decode it." he said confidently.

I started laughing. "Look I heard a lot of crazy shit today, but this, oh my god," I said cracking up.

"wait you guys aren't laughing?" I said laughing in between but then I turned serious. "so this is real?" I asked.

"yeah, Robin helped us decode it, this is what it means," Steve said I started reading what they wrote on the whiteboard. "yeah, but you guys also erased important data, shitbirds." robin said. I liked her. She was funny, someone who I could get along with.

We started walking out as Steve started closing the gate for Scoops Ahoy.

"I mean.. it just can't be right." steve said closing the gate to Scoops Ahoy.

"it's right, my translations are correct"

"Honestly I think it's great news." Dustin's said. "how is that great news exactly?" I said.

"I mean it's too specific, it's obviously a code."

"what do you mean, a code?" I said again.

"Like a super-secret spy code."

"that's a big stretch," I said far behind them struggling to walk.

I couldn't totally hear what they were saying because the headache was taking over my ears. But I heard them arguing that it may be a secret code as Dustin says. They got carried away talking that they forgot about me.

"where's y/n?"

"I'm here, I just have a horrible headache from when I fell," I said collapsing to the ground.

"hey, Steve!"

"do have a quarter, I need a quarter." panicked Steve as Robin threw a quarter at him. He was kneeling on the ground next to a children's play-horse, Indiana Flyer. I started laughing picking myself off the floor.

"Need help getting up, little Stevie?" said Robin as me and Dustin and started laughing even more .

"just, listen" and we all carefully listened to the nursery rhyme. I was confused. "holy shit." Dustin started taking out a tape recorder from his backpack. "wait, it's the same song" I said listening to the recorder and the nursery rhyme.

"maybe they have horses like this in Russia," robin said.

"Indiana Flyer, I don't think so," I said

"that recording didn't come from Russia, it came from here."

(mike's pov the next day)

turns out, Lucas and Will heard our whole conversation nope argument.

"I'm sorry, dude, but you were harsh on her," Lucas said.
"shut up dude, she left us alone in the tunnels full of demo-dogs, who does that?"

"well, she was scared and when she fell you didn't care so..." Lucas said back.

" so, she doesn't need to be in the center of attention all the time." Mike said.
"dude, you make no sense. I thought you said that when y/n came back you would get back with her again." Will said.

"well, I'm dating el so I can't do that."

"well she did dump your ass" Lucas said as Will and him started laughing and high fiving.

"shut up, let's go find y/n now."

" he does care" Will whispered in Lucas ear but I heard him loud and clear.

"we are just going to apologize" I said.

" no, YOU are apologizing" Lucas said.

"Why are you guys even here then?"

"moral support"

(Wills POV)

we started going all the places y/n could be.

we checked her house, the local park, and even asked Troy where she could be. Troy was no help.
"where can she be?" Mike said. It started to rain hard and we all got wet.

then, a feeling I wish would never come back, started tinkling the back of my neck. the goosebumps felt surreal and uncomfortable. It's back. I stopped where I was standing as Mike and Lucas continued walking on arguing.

"Will?" Mike said realized it was too quiet. They turned around and saw me touching the back of my neck. This hasn't happened since last year. Well, it happened when we wen to the movie theatre but I didn't think anything of it. But this one was more powerful then anyone I felt.

"Will, are you ok?" Lucas asked.

The only thing I managed to say was " he's back"

(Mike's pov)

As soon as Will said those words, I felt shivers done my spine, remembering all the memories last year. "Come on let's call everyone and tell them."

But my mind was set to something else. y/n.

I was worried about her.

what she fell in the rain and crashed?

what if she never made it home?

what she never wants to see me again?

I called everyone, including Dustin and y/n but they never picked up there SuperComm. I guess we have to this without them.
