We sat in my basement talking about how Will felt the goosebumps on his neck again. El didn't even say hi to me and sat next to Max. I guess she really did mean that "she dumped my ass".
'it's almost like.. you know when you drop on a roller coaster?'
everyone agreed except el.

"it's like everything inside your body, it sinks all at once, but this is worse. Your body goes cold and you can't breathe."
Will explained more about the 'mind flayer' now called and we all carefully listened.
A part of the shadow monster stayed with us, not in the upside-down.
"well we need to find y/n and Dustin, they can help," I said.
Max rolled her eyes, turning to El as they started talking about something off-topic.
We left my basement and went to Dustin's house first, Ms.Henderson was the only one home.
Next, we went to y/n apartment, as Max told as this was where she was living now.
We got in, and we were greeted by her parents.
"Sorry guys, y/n isn't home, but I can offer you guys some water, it is hot outside."
We all agreed and stepped inside.
This was quite nice. But I was hoping to see y/n and apologize to her for saying those awful comments.
As her mom started pouring us water in cups, Max decided to walk around, finding y/n's room.
She was close with the y/l/n's so there was no stopping her.
Max started walking into the room, me following behind her. "Not too bad y/n/n!" she said. I looked around admiring her room. Max got too cared away and started looking under her bed. Was she trying to find her-
"Guys I found y/n's diary!" she yelled and everyone gathered in her room.
"Guys I don't think we should read tha-" I said as Max cut me off.
