THE BATTLE OF STARCOURT 2
They made it outside and Jonathan got the ignition cable and attempted to make the car start. Nancy stood in front of the car with a gun shooting at Billy who was now charging towards the car. She shot a couple more times but that didn't seem to affect Billy. The car still wouldn't turn on even though there was an ignition cable added now. Nancy shot more until Billy was nowhere near stopping. The kids inside the car were freaking out now that they were about to experience impact. Nancy started to shield herself from the car until another car came and stopped Billy from crashing into her. There were 2 teens in the car that everyone recognized. It was Steve and Robin. The two saw the creature hovering over the mall in awe. Nancy picked up Steve and Robin and now they were successfully in the car except for Max, Mike, Eleven, and y/n.
(mike's pov)
Unfortunately, we didn't make it into Nancy's car so we all limped to the side-gate of the mall.
Billy was just outside with his car on half fire. He struggled to get out but eventually, he found out where we were. The buzzer at the gate was so loud, that Billy heard it and charged toward us. So we ran back inside to where we were previously. Billy was after us.
Max left El and y/n and ran back to close the gate so Billy couldn't enter. But just before it closed, Billy pried it open. We ran inside to the dimly lit hallways. Max and y/n were behind me limping having trouble catching up to me.
There was an elevator that we were hoping was still working. y/n took over to push the buttons aggressively, but nothing happened. But Max was drifting someplace else.
"Max?" y/n stopped pushing buttons and wondered what she was doing. "Billy.." we all stood frozen at the name. "Billy you don't have to do this.." Max's voice sounded like she was about to have a breakdown and cry.
"Billy. Your name is Billy Hargrove. You live at 4819 Cherry Lane. Please. I'm Max, your sis-" her speech was interrupted by a loud slap. Billy slapped Max to the ground. I charged toward Billy with force but he pushed me to the pipe against the wall. I heard another set of screams of yells before I passed out. After that, darkness.
(3rd person overview)
Billy hurt the three teens before leaving with Eleven on his shoulders. The three of them were passed out so there was no saying what they could do.
Billy carried Eleven on his shoulders all the way to the center of the damaged mall, where he leaned over her and whispered something in her ear. She was passed out so she had no idea this was happening.
"don't be afraid, it'll all be over soon, and try to say very still."
Those words awoke Eleven and startled her. Billy looked over to the side and so did Eleven. The giant creature returned to the mall. Her eye version wasn't the best so she didn't believe it until she widened her eyes. El was the main target for the mind flayer so as soon she's gone, it would be easy to get the rest of the people in town.
