The Troublemaker's Tainted Heart

Chapter 2

• Izuku's POV •

Mr. Yagi and I walked to my house in silence until I started humming to myself. I turn my head and see Mr. Yagi staring at me. "Oh, was I humming too loud," I asked, placing my hands into my pockets. "No. I'm just wondering why you're not in school." I stopped my tracks and started laughing hysterically which made Mr. Yagi give me a funny look.

"Haha, I just got expelled today! That school wasn't careful with me! Many schools warned them about me!" Mr. Yagi looked surprised by my outburst and what I said. "And what school did you go to? I mean your latest school," he questioned looking a little hesitant to know the answer. "Hmm, I went to many high schools. The latest one was Shiketsu High."

We eventually reached my house and I invited Mr. Yagi inside and he sat down on the couch while I started making some tea. I could see that Mr. Yagi was looking around the living room. After finishing making the tea, I went over to him and gave him a cup. He took a sip and took a big deep breath.

"Well, you probably know about that villain attack that happened a few years ago. The villain nearly killed me, putting me in a critical state. I wasted my time with countless surgeries. My respiratory system is messed up and I almost lost my stomach. I can't do much hero work so I stopped."

He lifted his white T-shirt to show me his wound. My eyes widen to see the massive scar on his torso. Everyone thought All Might was dead but in reality, he was hiding in the shadows. "How long can you maintain your All Might form? Can you show me," I asked leaning back on the couch. "I can maintain this form for 30 minutes!"

I quickly sit up when I see Mr. Yagi turning into a buff form but then I see smoke coming off of him and him coughing up blood. "What the hell? Are you okay," I yelled, rushing over to him. "I'm okay... I wasn't born with a quirk, mine was passed down for generations. I need to find a successor but I already found one... Izuku Midoriya, I want to pass my quirk to you."

"Why would you do that? I'm just a no-good troublemaker. I don't even go to school anymore."

"You saved me from those thugs without a second thought. You may be a troublemaker but you have a good heart. I can enroll you at U.A High... Will you be my successor? If you accept it I'll have to train you so you can handle the quirk."

"I mean, I train my quirk and workout. I have a pretty healthy lifestyle. And yes I'll be your successor, All Might."

"Great! We'll meet tomorrow before the sun rises at the abandoned beach. Keep in mind the training will be brutal as hell."

"Don't worry, All Might. I like a good challenge."

• Next Morning •

I grab my guitar on the way out and start jogging my way to the abandoned beach. As I arrive at the beach, I see All Might looking at the ocean. "Good morning, Young Midoriya... Oh, you brought a guitar," he said, giving me a confused look. "Yeah, I brought my guitar to practice here." All Might smiled and motioned for me to start playing.

After I finished playing, I saw All Might with a big proud smile. "Wow, you're talented, Young Midoriya! I didn't peg you to be a musician," he exclaimed, taking a good look at the guitar. "What can I say? I'm full of surprises, All Might." He pats on my shoulder then suddenly stops for a moment. "Oh my god, I just realized that you don't go to school," he said, turning around.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I got that covered."

"What? Where? How did you do that?"

"It was really simple. I'm going to my old school, in which I have many enemies. The only way I was able to go back was to blackmail the school's administrators."

"You are the first and last successor that I'll ever have."

All Might explained my new exercise and eating regimen. "Wait, so you want me to clean the earth destroying trash as my exercise, and go on a diet," I asked, holding up two fingers. "Yeah, that's pretty much it but I also have to train you how to control the quirk. Now, get to work." I turn around and see mountains of trash. I saluted All Might and went straight to work.
