Chapter 11

Third's P.O.V

Yumi giggled as she remembered the look on the Fukurudani's face when the matches started. Their first match is against Karasuno but Yumi couldn't watch since the school's cooks are not in today. The managers were then told in the morning so that they can prepare early when the matches ends.

'Such a shame that I couldn't watch....' Yumi couldn't help but sigh in disappointment.

"Yukie-chan, what can I help with?" Yukie looked at Yumi as she tied her hair into a pony tail and took the apron on the table to wear it. The table was full of vegetables waiting to be used as Yumi looked at the 3rd year for further instructions in order not to mess nothing.

"Ano Yumi-chan, can you cook the soup? We're don't know how to do the soup so...."

Yumi gave a small smile, " Alright you can count on me to do the soup."

Yumi then immediately worked on the soup so that it'll have more time to simmer on the fire. Yumi was so focused on cutting the ingredients for the soup that she didn't notice the Karasuno 1st year manager, Yachi Hitoka wanting to ask if she needed help. Yachi poked the girl's shoulder earning her attention with a smile on her face, encouraging the younger female to talk her business.

"Ano....Do you need any help?" Yachi asked shily as she pointed at the simmering soup on the fire.

"Hmmm........Can you watch the soup for me? I have to cut more of this here so I don't have to do this later on." Yachi  brightened up and went near the fire to avoid the soup from burning. Kiyoko had went earlier helping with the main dish and since pretty much all the tasks had been done over the group, Yachi decided to look if anyone wants any hand in their tasks.

It was then Yachi saw Yumi on the table near the window along cutting some ingredients that she decided to ask if she needed any help. Yachi had been really curious of the female seeing that Hinata often talks about her in Karasuno and the coach used her notes in handling the team's training. At present though, Yachi still don't know what to feel about the other since they've only talked briefly.

"I'm finished in here, thank you for your help um......"

"Oh, I'm Yachi Hitoka. It's very nice to meet you senpai." Yachi bowed nervously making Yumi blinked her eyes in confusion at the younger's tensed nerves.  Once again reminded her of some new people that she talks to back in their guild in the game.

"Hello, I'm Hibari Yumi. It's nice to meet you Yachi." Yumi smiled when Yachi stopped bowing and blushed.

"Hinata keeps on talking about you in school. He keeps on telling us that a beautiful senpai talked to her back in the camp." Yumi gave a small smile as she looked at the blonde who seemed to be more comfortable as she sat beside her listening to her stories back in the Karasuno. Yumi even felt more interested as their team was so chaotic. It made Yumi smile when she realized that the chaos that a team can bring is in Bokuto-san adding to the fact that he's always shouting on the top of his lungs.

"Oh yeah, Yukie-chan, can I do dessert? I just want to bake them a simple cake, or may be an apple pie will do."
