Chapter 4

Yumi's P.O.V

"Good Morning Yumi." I scratched my eyes sleepily as I saw Keiji's form in the dining room talking to Anko. 

Looking at the clock hanging on the wall, I gave a small yawn as I still want to go back to my soft bed to sleep even more. I have a habit of sleeping till lunch whenever it's weekends since it's the day when I always stay up late playing with my online games. Anko once reprimanded me for that but seeing that I keep doing it made her drop the idea of sleeping early.

"Good morning.........Keiji" I mumbled softly as I sat beside him. The moment I opened my eyes earlier, I only washed my face and teeth then head downstairs still wearing my pajamas. Ugh, why do I have to set the alarm in such an early time. I'm really starting to regret it.

" Why don't you have your breakfast, Yumi-chan?" Anko  said as she looked at my sleepy form sitting beside Keiji. "Here have some toast."

"Arigatou Anko-san..." I said sleepily as I give small bites on the bed struggling to make my eyes stay awake.

Third's P.O.V

" You're taking out Yumi for today, Keiji?" Anko asked as she washed the plates that they used during breakfast. 

Keiji looked at the older woman for a moment as he gave a small smile that is only seen whenever he is with his family members. The fukurudani team had rarely seen the setter smile and yet here he is, smiling as if it's just an everyday occurance. " Yumi wanted me to take her out for some ice cream and arcade in exchange of the favor I asked her."

"You shouldn't spoil your childhood friend like that you know, Keiji." Anko gave a helpless look, " Even when you two are small, you always give in to her."

"I don't really mind getting her spoil." Keiji said as he saw the smiling picture of Yumi in the living room. " Besides, she is also spoiled by you and uncle."

Keiji heard Anko's laugh behind the counter knowing that the boy told the fact. It's funny how the two different people had one thought just for the same person that they most care about. "what's funny though is that Yumi's brain never really detected us from spoiling her. She's too oblivious."

" That really worries me you know." Anko suddenly appeared in the door way as she looked at the same picture that Keiji is looking at, " She's too oblivious and innocent Keiji. I hope that you'll watch her just in case she gets influenced."

Keiji knew what Anko is talking about. Yumi is the type of girl that would believe in anything that the other person say provided that they tell the reason even if it's a lie. Just like the time when he asked for a favor on her, saying Anko as an excuse is the half truth. But Anko actually called him to let Yumi experience the real high school life rather than staying in her room after school.  

Keiji knew how much Anko is thinking of Yumi and it made the older woman worry that Yumi will miss the emotions and feelings that she could only feel at her age. " Don't worry Anko-san, I'll watch her over always."
