"Is that a watermelon Yukie-chan?!" Yumi's eyes glistened as she locked her eyes on the sliced watermelon on her senpai. "Can I get one?"

Yukie watched as the Shinzen's volleyball manager immediately nodded not being able to resist the look that Yumi gave her. Yukie laughed knowing that she'll also do the same if she was in her shoes. Yukie could never turn down Yumi's request especially when she asked with that teary eyes of hers. After all, it's a weapon that brought down even the mightiest Akaashi to agree to her wishes.

Practice matches have resumed and Yumi found herself totally exhausted in her self made bed together with other managers. With her eyes closed, Yumi felt her body collapse as she struggled to stay awake in the afternoon.

Yumi looked at the window that she opened earlier before hitting the floor. The wind kissed her skin as she can feel it's coldness crawling up to her nerves. It didn't made her shiver though, instead, Yumi felt her body relaxed as she enjoyed the small rest while the other managers talked on the other side of the room their exhaustion not evident in their faces.

"Say Hibari-chan, what's up with you and the Fukurudani's setter? I saw you being pat on the head by him earlier." The other managers had a gossipy look on their faces as Yumi looked over them confused on their meaning.

"Keiji's my childhood friend though?"

"tss~tss~, haven't you heard of stories of romance between childhood friends, Hibari-chan?"

Yukie giggled looking at the lost face on their younger manager's face and decided to intervene seeing that she is very confused at the things happening around her. "Now, now~ Yumi-chan treats Akaashi as her older brother. Don't spread false rumors lest Akaashi learns of it himself."

The other managers all giggled loudly. It was evident that they did not believe Yukie who in turn shrugged her shoulders knowing that they did not believe her.

"What do they mean Yukie-chan?"

"You shouldn't mind them, Yukie-chan. They're just teasing." If not Yukie did not know Akaashi and Yumi, she would also thought the same. Unfortunately she does, so she can't hold on to her thoughts.

"Alright then...." Yumi moved her body finding the location that she found the most comfortable before she address back Yukie again, " Can you wake me up after dinner? I feel so tired. I also don't feel like eating dinner later."

"I'll drop by later then."

"Good evening Kenma-san" Yumi greeted before a yawn escaped her mouth as she walked over beside the Nekoma's setter.

"You alright? I didn't see you eat dinner." Kenma looked at the sleepy look on the girl's face before he looked back on the game that he's playing before Yumi appeared.
