Chapter 16

Third's P.O.V

"Hello Keiji?" Keiji looked at the curious look that Bokuto and Kuroo has been giving him and immediately distance himself to answer the call. He knew that the two is being a busy body trying to listen on their conversation but seeing as it wasn't the first time made him wary even more.

"Oya, who could that be?" Kuroo asked curiously as he gave a curious smile on the direction of Keiji who is answering the phone.

"Oh right, I just remembered that it's my disciple's match against Ushijima today!" Kuroo looked at the hyperactive owl beside him who suddenly jumped and looked over to Kenma who is playing with his phone on his hand remaining unbothered.

" Oh yeah Kyanma, have you heard anything from here?" Kenma froze and looked at the smiling captain of his in font of him.

" That's not your business Kuroo." Kenma replied as he looked back on his phone again trying to remain unbothered at the heated stare that Kuroo was giving to his way. 

Bokuto grinned at the two and immediately shouted, " HEY HEY, IS SOMEONE CHATTING WITH YUMI-CHAN?!"

" Ho~ ho~ seems like someone's having fun." Kuroo teased making their team's setter glaringly looked at him which the nekoma's captain smoothly ignored. " I seemed to remember a certain boy struggling to find away to get her number back at the training camp~"

"Really, Kuroo?" Bokuto mused as he looked at the small setter who is trying to look busy as he fiddled with his phone. " That would've been so funny to watch."

"Right~?" Kuroo snickered 

"What are you talking about there?" Kenma sighed in relief seeing that the other setter had returned from the phone call or else, Kuroo and Bokuto wouldn't stop from teasing him.

Akaashi looked oddly at Kuroo and Bokuto and looked at Kenma who sighed in relief as he narrowed his eyes in suspicion before finally spealing, " I'm going to the Miyagi District Finals."

" Are you going to watch the Karasuno match Akaashi?"

"No, Bokuto-san. Anko-san wanted me to get Yumi." Akaashi said as he put back his phone in his pocket and looked at the group he is with. " So I'm off to Miyagi."

"Oh, Yumi has finally returned?" Kuroo's eyes wandered over Kenma who seemed interested at the conversation but didn't spoke. " Can we go over with you too?"

"YEAH! YEAH! I want to watch my disciple's match against Ushijima!" Bokuto agreed.

" What are you doing there standing still Akaashi, let's go or we'll miss the train!" Akaashi never knew how they reached in this conclusion when he was the only one who was supposed to get Yumi in Miyagi. Akaashi looked at Kuroo who had an amused smile on his face and Kenma who suddenly followed Kuroo with a suspicious look on his face. In the end, Akaashi finally sighed and relented knowing that the Nekoma's captain is probably amusing himself with his childhood friend's sudden interest on Yumi.
