Chapter 10

Third's P.O.V

"I'm back Keiji~" Akaashi looked at the girls standing before him as the team surrounded the girl welcoming her return. Akaashi noticed that Yumi's been being open nowadays and she seemed to be having fun especially since she returned for three days in Miyagi. Akaashi never even thought that Yumi would have the guts to call him by his first name as she entered the gym.

"HIBARI!!" Bokuto jumped and greeted the female energetically which the female returned with a smile. "How's your trip?"

"You can just call me Yumi, Bokuto-senpai, oh and about the trip......."

"Oh, I met with an old senpai of mine and visited a grumpy old man in the process." Yumi giggled as she remembered the grumpy look of Ikkei when she told him that she'll return back to Tokyo for the training camp. "Oh, speaking of grumpy old man..."

Yumi smiled as she remembered the words that the grumpy old man told her to tell to the Nekoma coach, Nekomata making her signal a wait sign to Bokuto and his team and headed over to the Nekoma's Coach looking at her smiling face.

"Coach Nekomata-san, A grumpy old man wants to say hi and told me to specifically tell you that the time may be near." Yumi innocently said as Nekomata laughed in delight making the Nekoma and Fukurudani team look at her in curiosity of the topic. " Thank you for sending the words of a grumpy old man, Yumi."

Yumi saluted and caught the eye of Kuroo smiling as he waved at her making her smile and wave back in return. Beside him, Kenma is also looking at her direction so Yumi also waved at him before going back to their team.   

"What was that all about Yumi?"

"Oh, a grumpy old man wanted me to deliver something to his rival. Honestly, he's such a pain."

"Oh yeah, Keiji I met Hinata when I was visiting the old man. It was fun playing with him." Yumi smiled making Keiji shiver at the possibility but dropped it since there's too many people in here. " Oh yeah, I probably have to ask coach what happened to the training tips that I Yukie-chan have him."

Akaashi watched as Yumi skipped over to head to their coach's direction feeling as if something changed in the past few days. The team looked at one another as if something bad will happen a few moments later.

".......Just as expected"

Fukurudani players all lined up in front of Yumi as players from other team looked at them strangely. Especially Bokuto who seemed to be frozen in his place and the other players in their team that is sweating furiously as they waited for a specific person to approach the.

"Hey, do you think that we can escape and fake illness while coach is still not here?"

"Akaashi, I think I have stomach pain!"

"I think I have diarrhea!"

"Shit why that was my excuse."

"My head is aching!!"

The teams from other players stared oddly at the Fukurudani players while Kuroo couldn't help but laughed out loud in amusement at the sudden changes in their attitudes. Even the other coaches moved their head sideways knowing what's going to happen as Nekomata's smile grew wider watching the scene. It was perhaps that one thing that Yumi got from being with Ikkei when he was till in his prime, the strictness and absurbness of the training.

'Oh wait, I think that it was just the strictness, Yumi's training is the one that's absurbed.'

"Hello everyone, it's nice to see you all very energetic in the morning~" A sing song voice echoed. Akaashi and team would find the voice pleasing if not for the next thing that they'll be subjected into. " So I found out that some haven't finished the training yet but it's already time for the matches, so what do you think we shall do about that~?"

"hmmm........I know! Every set you lose, you'll have to do some extra training with me~ okay~?" The team all nodded in relief knowing that the girl won't start her training when they still have a match to do after this. " Alright~ Have some warm up recieving with me~"

" Bokuto-senpai and the team, scatter in the perimeter." Yumi's voice was filled with authority that the players had no choice but to immediately went to their location without any complaint. " Nekomata-san and to the other coaches, I would have to apologize if we take a little more time in this. Oh, and watch out incocming balls."

All the coaches nodded as they knew what's going to happen from what the Fukurudani coach told them earlier. All the players tensed up when they felt the pressure from building up in the gym in the form of a little girl. Yumi looked at the four containers of balls beside her and looked at the Fukurudani players scattered in the gym as she took one before spinning it to her hand. "Let's start the exercise shall we?"

Yumi throwed the ball up in the air and spiked the ball with full force that immediately headed to the Fukurudani captain as Bokuto prepare himself to recieve it. Bokuto winced as he felt the force hitting his arms that can hit his face if he didn't recieve it properly. Bokuto gulped as he tried resists but the ball went to his face instead.

The Fukurudani players didn't have any time to breathe as Yumi started to aim the ball to their locations and started hitting their faces. Akaashi seemed to be the only one not smacked in the face with the ball as he has gotten used to her spinning serves sine they are young.

Players from other teams stared not believing on what just happened. It was just a simple recieving exercise but how come almost all of the players are down? Kuroo stared and blinked at the surprise that is happening in front of him. Even the Karasuno team that watched the excitement were quiet with different reaction showing in their faces.

"OOOHH! Yumi-chan! Can I have a go?" Hinata's eyes sparkled seeing the awesome service in front of him. Yumi looked over where Hinata is standing and let him into a recieving formation before she gave a full force spinning serve to the middle blocker in front of his team. As expected by Yumi and the Karasuno, the ball also smacked the boy's face after failing to be reccieve by orange-head's arms.

"Oh, is he dead?" Yumi gigled in amusement at Hinata making all of the players sweat drop.

"Hey Kenma, she is pretty scary."

"Kuroo."

"Yes.....?"

"Shut up."
